Very nice product, but do yourself three favors. 1) Download the BILT app. This helps clear up any doubts you have about how things go together. You still have to pay attention to the details of the instructions! 2) Don't get in a hurry. Make sure you take the time to make sure the parts are properly aligned before tightening things down. This will aid in proper fit in subsequent steps. 3) Have plenty of room to lay out the six cartons that this unit comes in. I was killing myself trying to make sub-assemblies in one side of my garage and digging through boxes while it poured down rain outside. Also, it's really nice to have help. It DOES TAKE THREE PEOPLE to install the roof panels. After some struggles, still Very happy with this piece.

My wife and her friend saw this gazebo at Sams Warehouse for $1600. Price was right so we ordered it right away. They let us know that Sams had ordered 6 of these and wasnt expected to come in for quite a while. So I got on to the internet to find it somewhere else. Now when I was doing this it was right before Mothers Day and this was going to be perfect for her in the backyard. In my search i found this same gazebo on your website Backyard Discovery. But at a substantually higher cost $2400. My wife didnt like it but I ordered it anyway knowing it was going to be here the following week. . Timing was perfect for her Mothers Day. I bought it and our sons came to put it together on Mothers Day. I have to say this kit was really well thought out. the instructions were so easy to follow. Even for this dum truckdriver. We purchased our gazebo and you could smell the quality of the cedar before the box was even opened Our family loves the look, the sturdiness and the fact the food keeps the “insides” underneath cool on hot days. My son likes to do pull ups while we are out enjoying the time outside Having the electric box is also a great help for the lights we set up and keeping the phones and speakers charged for our all day events This gazebo is a home run in all aspects

Very well planned out kit. Kudos to the designers and fabricators. One thing I would like to point out are the markings for the parts. It was a little difficult to read the numbers on the wood pieces. Dark ink on dark stained wood. Just had to match the image and measurements from the manual. Also some of the markings on the bags were a little hard to read as well. One thing that I am not really happy about is the edge trim for the roof. It is installed on top of the sheeting which means the runoff goes in behind the edging and can cause premature rot to the outer rafter boards. I suggest using a wood sealer on the rafters as well as foam closure strips under the roof sheeting BEFORE installing the edge trim. I look forward to this summer and setting up our outdoor theater while smoking a brisket!!!!!!

Follow the instructions, get a friend to lift the two larger roof panels in place and don’t forget you have the included clamps which are an absolute LIFE SAVER. Overall this is a very heavy and very sturdy gazebo…

So far we love it. No issues whatsoever. The installation portion took me a little longer than expected, and certain parts of the process definitely require 2, or even 3, people but its all very doable. All of the parts/pieces seem to be good quality, and the instructions are mostly pretty easy to understand.

The instructions were very easy to follow, with the app it makes it very easy to see how everything is supposed to be. It was very convinient to have extras for every hardware piece that was included. I would recommend this product and the use of the BILT app to go along with it.

The anchors could be improved as they were a pain to get in , I pre- drilled the Concrete and still had a problem with them. You should go with different ones as these never work out well. Overall I would highly recommend Backyard Discovery to everyone. Best Instructions ever. I want to thank you for all your help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with the construction of this gazebo. When all the pieces were put together, I had a few neighbors help put those pieces together. Very sturdy and ready for all the abuse Iowa weather will throw at it.

The gazebo itself is beautiful and very sturdy. But it took way longer to build than the directions stated, and more people than recommended to "slide" the roof into place. Also, there was no template for the eletric box. The Bilt directions differed than the printed directions, which was confusing, and we ran out of screws for the roof because of it. Overall a great product, just the directions were done poorly.
