[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I assembled the gazebo over a period of 3 days. Watching a video with organization recommendations was very helpful. As noted in the very thorough instructions, positioning the roof panels requires additional help. In the end, you have an extremely attractive and rugged structure. It’s a bargain if you are comfortable with the assembly, or if you can contract the assembly for a reasonable price.

Bought this from Sam’s Club a few months ago to put on our back patio. The size is perfect. The quality of the wood and the engineering is outstanding. It’s not a simple assembly, but if you’re familiar with hand tools and have a friend or 2, it can be done in a day or two.

My husband is quite handy so he decided to build a similar structure from scratch. When I saw this on display at our Sam's Club, I brought him back to take a look because I loved it and it was a larger size than we thought we could afford. He was impressed with the truss system and all around durability.... After some comparison analysis, we bought the Cordova for far less than it would have taken my him to build. Not to mention the time this kit saved us from having to find the lumber and hardware, and then having to cut, stain, and assemble! I got what I wanted in a quick and easy weekend project, and my husband was thrilled at this being real a time saver for him!! It is a perfect relaxing place along side our firepit!! We are getting so many compliments on this sturdy attractive gazebo!!!

I bought this gazebo last summer ( 2022 ) and it has surpassed our expectations completely. Hard rains with 60+ mph winds, Snow sitting on it for a month plus and it hasn't budged. Its not even bolted down. We added a ceiling fan, Tv with drop down mount and all the accent lights. My wife loves it and if she is happy , then I am happy. The installation from Goconfigure was awesome. They showed up on time and I was ecpecting it would take a solid day with 2 guys to build it. Nope, about 4 hours. They knew what they were doing. Well worth the money for both the gazebo and the headache of installing it. I'd do it again 100x . I did my research when it came to a gazebo that would last. After all of the wicked weather we have had in the last 8 months it still looks like its brand new. Cant say enough!!!

We bought the 14x10 Cordova gazebo. From purchase, to delivery, to resolution of a broken piece in shipment…customer service was excellent. In fact, it reminds me of the “good ole days”, when you were actually able to speak with a live person by phone who cared, resolve the issue or provided info and after the call, made sure that what was promised actually happened. The shipment comprised of 6 boxes, all well packed and contents marked. The delivery team (three guys and a truck) went out of their way to accommodate delivery up a steep driveway to the house. Now, we decided to tackle this project ourselves. For two folks in the mid 60’s, we took our time and followed both the instructions in the manual, but mostly relied on the online video, which was excellent. The only challenges were…placement of the four roof panel onto the structure. Even with 3 men, it was a challenge. No way, two people could have done it. The second challenge was that while most all of the pre-drilled holes lined up, the sawdust residue inside the holes prevented a clean installation of the structure hardware. We ran a drill bit thru the holes as we went. After installation of the power port, we decided to go ahead and install a ceiling fan. Are we happy? You bet we are! From start to finish, this is a first class company to do business with. If you don’t have the time to go thru the process step by step, or don’t care to read and follow the instructions (which will take you longer to complete), then purchase the professional installation package. But, if you are like us and have lots of free uninterrupted time, this is a fun project to tackle together. Please look at our photos!

We bought this about 6 months ago and love it. We put an outdoor high bar table under it and have totally enjoyed sitting outside since we got the gazebo, before there was just not enough coverage just using umbrellas; the assembly was a bit pricey but well worth it.

I will add I do have good construction/ wood working skills. I was able to get help of one or two people as needed. We are proud of the results and many of my neighbors are also impressed. We would strongly recommend this product.

Bought this last summer and we love it! Assembly was challenging, even with 4 of us because of heavy pcs, and the high roof, but we did it. If I buy another, I would pay for set up. ;) This gazebo is so well built, sturdy and good looking. Survived winter no problem. Highly recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The gazebo has been up for the past 3 weeks and it’s been awesome. It’s added to our outdoor living space plus we added several other items to it to make it even more enjoyable: outdoor speakers, outdoor fan, outdoor lighting, and outdoor furniture.

This review is overdue by a month but I wanted to wait until I had the some other work around the pool area completed before I posted photos. Before I start, a local builder quoted me over $35K for a gazebo build – with a start date of fall of 2023. I searched online and Backyard Discovery had some great looking products. We selected the 16x12 Barrington Gazebo. First, the online purchasing experience easy and intuitive. (10/10) I selected the assembly option which is performed by a company called Go Configure (more on that later). Communication from Backyard Discovery was great and they were very clear and concise on delivery dates. (10/10) The actual delivery was performed exactly as promised and they even placed the boxes in my garage for safekeeping. The boxes are huge so unless you have helpers, I recommend you clear a space in your garage or other covered area in advance of delivery and have them put it there for you (if you can). Our driver was awesome and called in advance of delivery and then could not have been more pleasant and helpful. I wish I remembered the company to give them props. (10/10) Next, the assembly was scheduled through Go Configure. I read some pretty bad reviews online about them so I was worried. However, they scheduled the assembly a week or so after the gazebo was delivered and called me in advance to let me know a spot opened up earlier. I grabbed the opening. The folks at Go Configure were great with communication with both calls and texts. (10/10). The assembly team showed up as promised early on a Saturday. A team of 3 men were in the crew. They moved the enormous boxes to the assembly area from my garage and proceeded to unbox and set up. I looked out the window and in an hour or so the frame was up. In another hour a large portion of the roof was in place. In less than 4 hours they had completed the assembly. This team was outstanding. They were highly skilled and had done this many times before. I can’t say enough good things about the team and my experience with Go Configure. We are in the DFW area, so we may just have a really great territory for the company. I can’t say how it works in other regions but if you get the crew we got, it will be a flawless experience. They never stopped until the job was done and done way beyond my expectations. (10/10) We had a bunch of other expensive work done on our pool area before the gazebo went in but the amazing thing is that we are far more happy with the gazebo from Backyard Discovery than anything else done. I did put some pavers around the base supports to enhance the look a bit and installed a TV and ceiling fans but the gazebo construction made this a breeze. We get a ton of compliments and more importantly – a ton of use and enjoyment from the gazebo. Thank you Backyard Discovery and Go Configure for making this dream a reality. There is not one thing that could have been done better – truly flawless. By the way, this is not a paid review, we are a real family who randomly found Backyard Discovery online – I am as shocked as you may be that this went so perfectly.
