After researching gazebo options for about a year, our entire family voted to purchase this one. I’m so glad we did. It immediately became everyone’s favorite place on our property. The pieces are sturdy and well constructed. There were no issues with quality, like I have read in reviews of gazebos from other companies. We love the look! The price is very reasonable compared to the competition. I definitely recommend this gazebo. Absolutely no regrets!

I purchased and built a 16x12 Barrington Gazebo this past summer and we have absolutely loved it! I would say that everyday that we had good weather, we were under it. We thought that even in a light rain with no wind, we could hang out, but unfortunately, without anything catching the rain dripping off the roof, it would hit the concrete and splatter back under the gazebo, making the practical usable area very small under the gazebo. Backyard Discovery does not offer a gutter system for their gazebos, and I really didn't like the look of the offerings from some of the other gazebo manufacturers out there. So, I designed my own. It was relatively simple, but would have been easier had I done it when first building the unit. First, I removed the trim pieces around the outside of the roof. Then I added 4" flashing under the roof panels, hanging down the facial board about 3". I had purchased steel J channel (brown, nearly the same color as the supplied trim), which I attached under the flashing with a stainless steel screw through the flashing and J channel into the facial board. I had to cut, bend, rivet, and caulk the corners of the J channel. I also had to make sure there was a slight slope from corner to corner so the water would flow correctly. On the lowest corner (opposite corner being the highest), I simply channeled the water out into the yard, instead of a downspout. Although a downspout would work also. Then I reinstalled the original trim with it also handing into the J channel. It really turned out great, looks great, and works perfectly. It handles light to medium rains easily, and allow us to hang out under the gazebo and stay dry. I think it would be great if Backyard Discovery would include this with the gazebo originally, or as an option. But until then, this is a great DIY for it.

And best of all it came with easy to follow instructions and every pre drilled hole was exactly where it was supposed to be and add to that every screw bolt nut etc was there. We love it.

So I will start with this review in regards to our first gazebo. The first one we put it together, it took about a day or so, definitely is do able with 2 people that have very little experience. I absolutely loved it we had the lights around the inside carpet down it definitely set the tone for a relaxing backyard. But, I skipped a step and own 100 percent of this. I failed to secure this monster gazebo into my stamped concrete patio and it was a costly mistake. With that being said, we loved it so much that I of course had to purchase another one. Same size, same location. The second one we put up I had paid for the company to install it. This was money WELL spent. This team of guys came in and blasted this thing up in about 5 hours. The one thing the installation company doesn’t do is secure it to the patio. (WHICH IMMEDIATELY DID). So this summer we look forward to enjoying this. I can’t stress it enough since I have purchased 2, well worth it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MY wife and i had a poorly constructed pergola over an aging deck when we bought our home 3.5 years ago. We decided to have the deck replaced and found this Cordova gazebo would be perfect for shade. The hip roof design gives it a more premium look. WE also love the power box with 3 ac outlets and 3 USB power ports. Although we haven't had the opportunity to use it much due to weather but the quality of materials is outstanding, especially for a kit.

I bought this a couple months ago and it took about 2 days to build and 3 people at times and wasn't too difficult. Love the power feature so we can add lights around it soon. It completes the back yard perfectly and provides shade at a reasonable price since patio covers are so high. Materials seem nice and sturdy and look quality.

We purchased in the fall and it has held up very well in the harsh winter months and withstood 60mph winds like a champ in strong storms this spring. We get a lot of wind where we live and I am very pleased in how well it has held up. It's ready for our fireplace install and new furniture this spring.

The use of the precision pre-drilled components streamlined the installation process as well. We chose the Barrington 20x12 Gazebo after searching for several months for just right Gazebo. We can proudly say that the THIS exceeded our expectations in every way, providing us with a magnificent sanctuary to cherish the beauty of our butterfly garden and honor the memory of a beloved family member that passed on Christmas day 2022. Its exceptional design, durability, and ability to evoke a sense of peace and comfort make it an invaluable addition to our backyard oasis. We are truly grateful for the serenity, family gathering space and beauty it has brought to us.

We bought this gazebo last summer and it made it through a Wisconsin winter with no problems. Added some lights and a ceiling fan and it is our favorite spot to hang out. Assembly was a bit of a project and required 2 people but it was no more than expected given the size and weight of the gazebo. All pieces were accounted for and it went together quickly. I have no doubt this gazebo is going to last us years. I can't wait to finish the deck and railings in the same beautiful dark walnut stain, which is fairly easy to match.
