[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this gazebo assembled in a few weeks as it was a weekend project. The most difficult part to the assembly was getting the roof up. Prepare to have 3 people assist, because we were unable to do it with 2. Otherwise, assembly was pretty straight forward and it went together well. The gazebo is great in the summer. We installed a sun shade for those sunny evenings and you can sit under the gazebo almost any time of the day. The material is sturdy and well made. We are thinking about purchasing another one to use for the BBQ area.

Assembly is fairly easy, it took us 2 days to put it up with the help of our friends! Now we can enjoy eating out more by the backyard with this beautiful gazebo!

Outstanding engineering of product, was able to assemble on my own with help to join posts & lift roof. All pieces accounted for and appreciated extra hardware on fasteners etc. Labelling of parts could have been better as part number was difficult to read where it had been stamped. Related to marketing of the assembly service, was not made aware of the 6' required prior to purchase so had to cancel that service and install myself. Take your time if you assemble yourself, it is possible, just need to follow the written instructions and refer to the Bilt guide.

My son, nephew, cousin and I had fun spending time together while building the gazebo. I had a few questions and your customer service was extremely helpful and kind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Backyard Gazebo from Lowe’s last Spring to have it ready by summer. It arrived on time and we stored it in our garage until we were ready to put it up. It took us a long time to put together because we are not builders of any sort. Our son did come and help, he is not a professional builder but he is able to do much more than my husband and I could. We worked around his schedule. It helped that we organized the wood and hardware so we didn’t have to search for pieces when we needed them. We finally got it up and we’re very pleased. Our children and grandchildren were able to enjoy the shade by the pool. I highly recommend this gazebo. However, to save time, I would gladly pay the service fee to have someone experienced put it together. If you are good at this sort of thing you could do it with at least two others helping. The directions are easy to follow and perfect to create a beautiful gazebo. The wood is beautiful and it is sturdy and the beautiful metal roof does not leak in heavy rain. We were impressed with how all of the pieces fit together.

We are very please with this product. We live in a very high wind area, and I was sick of replacing umbrellas every year. The style blends well with our home, and provides great shade for summer dining in the terrace. We hired people to assemble it, and they assured us this was much higher quality than they were used to assembling. Highly recommend!

We purchased our Cordova Gazebo almost a year ago and it truly has sustained our Colorado winds, our most recent winter heavy snow. Even our most recent heavy rains without any problems at all. It was absolutely one of our better purchases and wish we had purchased it sooner. My husband Rick, our son and our neighbor all helped with putting the roof on as it did need 3 people. The lower part of 4 posts and sides my husband pretty much did it himself with an extra ladder. He’s very creative! So the roof was the part that did require the assistance of a few more hands. We enjoy using our new outdoor space for many outside events in our yard day or night. It looks beautiful. We did hang lights for sitting outside in our cool Colorado evenings. My husband and I enjoy just sitting under it in the morning drinking our coffee. My sister and her husband were so impressed with our Gazebo that they are ordering one for themselves. So we would highly recommend this purchase to anyone considering purchasing or having one built. It is a great price, quality is 5 star.

I bought this 16x12 Barrington for its style and guarantees with the wind and weight load. Most gazebos, I noticed my research, are only rated for half the wind and weight load of this one. It came palletized in six boxes. You need a large area to spread everything out to make sense of the parts. There were two pieces of wood that were damaged in the box, but the company immediately replaced same within a couple days without a problem. I did need two other people to attach the legs to the framework and again to install the roof panels. The 16-ft roof panels were a challenge to install because of their weight and awkwardness of its size. I did need a little help with the rubber mallet and wood clamps for this step. I did find it weird that you install the drip edge over the roof and not under. The rain does go down under the drip edge, over the cedar fascia, and onto the deck. I don't know how long this wood will last before rotting. They should figure out a different way to finish the roof with the water being diverted in a different way. Also, when I had the paver patio installed I gave the contractor the measurements to wear each post was going to be located. He then poured a concrete footing under the pavers and those pavers are also embedded in the concrete. I used 5-in concrete anchor screws to lock down the posts.

Not going to lie-this thing is a beast to out together. The directions could be a tad clearer for the average person. There are very specific ways to attach things and if anything is backwards it’ll mess up the whole thing. We ended up having to drill a few additional holes to assemble the roof panels. It’s not perfect, but it’s sturdy and looks great! Take your time and have 2-3 people to help. :)

It took us a few days to put together and I am not handy at all. I was concerned about sturdiness but once it’s complete, it’s solid! I love the look of it. I would highly recommend this gazebo! All the parts were in the boxes, make sure you pre-drill the holes like it says in the instructions. Great product. Please make a mosquito net and sun screen for it Backyard!
