It's nice because it keeps your salad separate from foods that may make your lettuce slimy or make your croutons soggy if added to the lettuce. There's plenty of room in the bottom for your lettuce, cheese, and other veggies you want all together. The top is perfect for nuts/croutons/meat and your dressing. The container is leak-proof with its hinge close sides.

I love love love my salad bowl!!! And use it almost every day I’m at work. I have had it a few months and the top latch broke. I was outside of the return window but I contacted bentgo and they were super helpful and are sending me a replacement! Great product and customer service!!

I bought these salad bowls a year and a half ago and one of the lids broke. I reached out to customer service and within a couple days they sent me a replacement. Bought it initially because it is a great product, bought a few more because of the great customer service.

I put all sorts of bits in the top tray and I can add it to my salad or eat separately when the time comes, just toss what I want in the salad, put the lid back on and shake it all up. Gets dressing everywhere when I want it, not hours before. It's fantastic! It holds a lot of salad too!

I’ve been considering purchasing this for months. The pictures literally show that you can put the top on just the glass portion if you want to shake your salad. I didn’t even have anything in it and tested the top on the glass and the hinges broke off. Both of them. Needless to say I will be returning this. The design and durability desperately needs improvement.

Love this container! It is a bit heavy especially loaded with your meals but it is very sturdy. The little plastic sauce container needs a good cleaning if you're carrying oil dressings and it doesn't seal fully so if you're journey is a little shaky, it does spill out a bit.

Lid broke. The prongs that snap the lid on are weak. I didn't keep the receipt so bentgo reluctantly replaced as a one time courtesy, but that lid's prongs look weak right out of the box. There is a white little line in the crease that shows it is going to break also. Do Not Buy.

So close to being great, but with one glaring construction issue. I really love this salad bowl, the glass is nice, it's a good size (fits most premade salad kits), the toppings separator is great, and the container for the dressing pretty works well too, the thinner dressings can escape a bit. However, I have had 3 of the lids break where the clasp of the lid grabs onto the bowl. I even hand washed the last lid I had exclusively (despite it saying it was dishwasher safe) and it still broke. It pains me because I love it, but I'm going to have to look elsewhere as I'm tired of replacing the lid and continuing to throw away plastic.

I purchased a 2 pack of these from Costco. I love them so much BUT the lid needs work. Sometimes the lid becomes a little too airtight and is impossible to get off. The snaps on the lids pop off almost every time I close them. One of the lids finally broke beyond repair. Unfortunately I didn’t register my products within 14 days of purchase to qualify for the warranty.
