Cheese 🧀 feast

I used to buy the nacho cheese sauce from Sam’s with good results. It wasn’t Member’s Mark. Now all that is available is the “new Member’s Mark “ sauce. The current cheese sauce doesn’t have a good flavor at all. The old sauce could be put in plastic containers and frozen for future use. Freezing the new “improved” sauce doesn’t work at all.

I use to love both MM Nacho and Regular Cheese Sauces but somewhere along the journey, they’ve changed. Very very salty; a weird bitter aftertaste and the Nacho no longer has a “nacho” flavor. I will no longer buy them. Disappointed that I’m disappointed in MM products, but…

I used to love this cheese - it reminded me of the nachos I’d get at a ball game or a hockey game. Now, it tastes like salt. And it doesn’t even appear to be real cheese anymore. I hope they revert back to their old recipe, because this version is truly bad. To all of you that think this is good cheese - I’m going to venture to say that you’ve never had the old recipe. The old recipe was delicious. PLEASE CHANGE BACK TO THE OLD RECIPE!!!

On a positive note, this is a lot of nacho cheese sauce for the price. We tried it with pretzels and chips. Out of the four of us, no one really like it and we didn't finish it. Better of buying the smaller jars that sams club sells. They taste much better than this.

We've been buying this cheese for years for all personal and business needs. The 'new version' is TERRIBLE. From the color, to consistency to taste. All are terrible. Will no longer purchase and plan to no longer renew my membership since this was the main reason we picked Sam's Club for our membership. So disappointed.

I have been using the members mark nacho cheese for 13 years for my restaurant, we sell a ton of BBQ nachos! And now I have to use this stuff which is disgusting and really orange. I can’t find anything like the old cheese and this is absolutely horrible. Why change a good thing?

This was sick. My first impression was that it felt like some kind of gel or slime with some color and an extremely mild flavor. After looking at the ingredients, that assessment wasn't too far from the truth. Cheese is the 5th ingredient. There's more corn starch than there is cheese, which is what gives it the gel-like consistency. It reminded me of mucus and actually tasted similar. Not cheesy at all.

The company that I work for holds various fundraisers for employees, etc. Whenever we do a Nacho Fundraiser, we get all of our supplies (chips, nacho cheese, jalapeños) from Sam's Club and everyone loves it! We receive nothing but good comments from fellow employees when it comes to the Nachos and this cheese. We go through multiple cans of this cheese every time! Highly recommended if you are looking for a cheap 'chip and cheese' fix.

I had bought the nacho cheese sauce from Sam's for years and have to admit that after reading the reviews online about this new sauce supposedly not being as good, I was a bit leery. Tried it last night, and it is just as good as I remember, if not even a bit better. The only change there may have been is that I could see a few more of the jalapeno 'flakes' in it than I recall, but it wasn't any hotter to me. I love this product and am very happy that the prior negative reviews listed here did not pan out to be reality. I will definitely continue to buy this product, which is a great value and keeps in the fridge for a long time after opening.
