[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for our backyard as we needed shade for parties we often host. We get compliments all of the time. It looks great and is well built. Took one person 12 hours to build which I think was quicker then expected.

I bought this last summer and have been enjoying it ever since. It was a great addition to the backyard. Gives me plenty of room for grilling and dining and just hanging out. I put it together mostly by myself and I do not consider myself to be the most handy but I would recommend at least one other person to make things go a bit more smoothly and even a third person to help put the roof on as it is a bit heavy. But I have had it for a year and it's held up great so far, would buy again.

Pretty easy to assemble. Definitely need 2 strong backs and 1 helping hand to set the roof pieces into place. Download the BILT APP and that will help tremendously. Read the directions and watch the App video, multiple times to get familiar. Put everything together exactly in the order in the directions. I accidentally skipped a step and had to go back and start over. Put this together by myself other than hiring the 2 strong backs to help put roof on. 2 THUMBS UP

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with our pergola. So much better than an umbrella on our deck by the pool. The wind can get kind of gusty here. No more dealing with umbrellas and we have a nice place to get out of the sun.

The instructions were very thorough, I would recommend downloading the BILT AP as well. I would recommend a total of 3 people to install the roof panels but can be done with two strong people that have some basic carpentry skills. Keep all parts organized and take your time, the end result is beautiful. Highly recommend

I saw this Gazebo on display at Sams Club and I had to have. It’s well built, tons of space and the power/usb outlets is by far the best feature. My backyard is the talk of the neighborhood!!! I added some lights to it and made it even more cozy! Don’t hesitate!!! BUY IT!!!!!!

I’m glad I purchased this gazebo. It was tedious to put all of the parts together and I only had problems with a few parts. I had to really clean the pre drilled holes in the posts. The first few times I tried to put the bolts and nuts through, I kept catching some residual saw dust. I only had problems with the posts though. I did like that an app was available to look at the pictures a little better. The app and paper directions do not match completely. I primarily used the paper copy. I watched several videos on cedar gazebos like this one and I did not appreciate the difference between the Backyard Discovery Gazebo and the Yardistry Gazebo until I put the roof on with help. Backyard Discovery uses a frame to attach the roof panels to and the videos for other cedar gazebos do not have a frame. The benefit is evident when placing the roof panels. We put up one at a time instead of trying to hold up three panels before bolting them together. It came together so much easier than the videos. I purchased the Backyard Discovery Gazebo because of the look and the anchor plates. We get a lot of wind in my back yard sometimes and I didn’t want to worry about it during a wind storm. I wanted to use the biggest concrete anchors that would fit in the pre drilled holes. The wind ratings and snow loads were higher than other products. I’m very happy with how it turned out. I only finished it two weeks ago. I’m not going to disclose how long it took me to put together because I was doing it by myself for the most part except for installing the beams between the posts and the roof. It seems very solid and it is attractive which are my main concerns.

We bought this about 5-6 months ago and it is still working great. I recently coated the legs with a urethane varnish to help protect from the sun, there was some slight fading. The legs are really the only parts in the sun alot. Overall I am happy with the purchase. I would like to see a well made adapter to mount a ceiling fan so I dont have to imagineer one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this prior to Memorial day, knowing it would be a great addition for our backyard and pool. I purchased professional installation as well. The only drawback to the installation was the gazebo set in my garage until late July waiting for the installers to arrive. I had an early June date originally and they cancelled on me. Once the gazebo was erected it was everything I though it would be. I added a ceiling fan, roller shade to one side and towel rack for pool towels. It provides nice shade for hot days and cover for my backyard grilling. Overall a great investment.
