We purchased this gazebo 9 months ago and chose to put it up ourselves. Shortly after receiving it we had to move out of our home due to slab leak repairs in our kitchen. We were finally able to put it together and it was a fun and challenging project. The instructions are very clear, however you need to be somewhat mechanically inclined. It’s a beautiful gazebo and a wonderful addition to our backyard. Having electricity is a nice touch too. We plan to install a ceiling fan. We’re looking forward to many family gatherings and coffee chats.

I purchased the Barrington 14x10 gazebo and had absolutely no issues putting it together. I could not be more happy with how it looks after putting it together. It’s everything I had hoped it would be. Please give the person or team a bonus or raise as they are some of the best assembly instructions I’ve ever seen. Between that and the Bilt app on my iPhone, I did not have any questions whatsoever in the building of the gazebo. Simply perfect.

It is so well built, sturdy and it totally transformed the look of my deck and backyard. There is enough space for a table seating 8 underneath and still room to walk around. I chose it because compared to every other brand, the build quality and ratings for wind and snow were better. Plus it looks beautiful! You can't build one this good, this safe, and looks this nice on your own for the price. I added some fans with remotes up inside and some lights around the edge. I get nothing but compliments on it. So glad I chose Backyard Discovery brand. Highly recommend.

I bought this to add to my deck expansion. With the help of my sons. We got it assembled. Took longer than expected, but had limited time where my sons could come over & help. Instructions were very detailed. Only issue was a couple of the posts had holes drilled in wrong place for the corner brackets & had to drill new holes and it wasn't easy taking the plastic wrap off the metal parts. That's the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. We are loving the new gazebo.

I purchased this back in March and got it last Wednesday. I completed it today ,with everyone trying to go cheap on their product I was very impressed with the quality of the material. The instructions are very easy to follow I laid out the material as instructed and everything went smoothly.The only thing I needed help on was installing the roof pieces.I was only short 14 1/4 flat washers which is impressive considering the number of pieces with this product. I called and they are sending me some flat washers, I went to the hardware store and got some and painted them black I. Order to complete it today the person I spoke with was very knowledgeable and courteous.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this to go above our hot tub in our back yard. It has done it's job providing necessary shade and weather protection. We are very pleased with the quality of the materials. They were shipped in multiple boxes, which were not organized based off of procedure steps. This would have been more helpful in easily locating the correct hardware for the correct steps. However, the instructions were very straightforward, and all components arrived undamaged and in excellent condition.

This review is overdue by a month but I wanted to wait until I had the some other work around the pool area completed before I posted photos. Before I start, a local builder quoted me over $35K for a gazebo build – with a start date of fall of 2023. I searched online and Backyard Discovery had some great looking products. We selected the 16x12 Barrington Gazebo. First, the online purchasing experience easy and intuitive. (10/10) I selected the assembly option which is performed by a company called Go Configure (more on that later). Communication from Backyard Discovery was great and they were very clear and concise on delivery dates. (10/10) The actual delivery was performed exactly as promised and they even placed the boxes in my garage for safekeeping. The boxes are huge so unless you have helpers, I recommend you clear a space in your garage or other covered area in advance of delivery and have them put it there for you (if you can). Our driver was awesome and called in advance of delivery and then could not have been more pleasant and helpful. I wish I remembered the company to give them props. (10/10) Next, the assembly was scheduled through Go Configure. I read some pretty bad reviews online about them so I was worried. However, they scheduled the assembly a week or so after the gazebo was delivered and called me in advance to let me know a spot opened up earlier. I grabbed the opening. The folks at Go Configure were great with communication with both calls and texts. (10/10). The assembly team showed up as promised early on a Saturday. A team of 3 men were in the crew. They moved the enormous boxes to the assembly area from my garage and proceeded to unbox and set up. I looked out the window and in an hour or so the frame was up. In another hour a large portion of the roof was in place. In less than 4 hours they had completed the assembly. This team was outstanding. They were highly skilled and had done this many times before. I can’t say enough good things about the team and my experience with Go Configure. We are in the DFW area, so we may just have a really great territory for the company. I can’t say how it works in other regions but if you get the crew we got, it will be a flawless experience. They never stopped until the job was done and done way beyond my expectations. (10/10) We had a bunch of other expensive work done on our pool area before the gazebo went in but the amazing thing is that we are far more happy with the gazebo from Backyard Discovery than anything else done. I did put some pavers around the base supports to enhance the look a bit and installed a TV and ceiling fans but the gazebo construction made this a breeze. We get a ton of compliments and more importantly – a ton of use and enjoyment from the gazebo. Thank you Backyard Discovery and Go Configure for making this dream a reality. There is not one thing that could have been done better – truly flawless. By the way, this is not a paid review, we are a real family who randomly found Backyard Discovery online – I am as shocked as you may be that this went so perfectly.

My husband and I are newly retired and decided that this Gazebo would be our first handyman project to begin our retirement with. The Gazebo instructions ALONG with the app worked very well. We were able to put the Gazebo together in about three days. We only needed help on the fourth day, when we installed the roof panels onto the Gazebo rafters. We were very impressed with how sturdy and strong the structure is. We had looked at other gazebo kits and most of them do not have wooden rafters. We think that this Gazebo Kit is top of the line and highly recommend the purchase of this kit, you will be thrilled!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gazebo is used as an extension of our Florida home. It gives us plenty of room to be outdoors even in the brightest days. I had it screened in to keep the mosquitoes out and we use it almost every day. If you are putting this unit together, separate all of the parts and put them in order. It seems a little overwhelming but systematically it works. One mistake we made was to put the roof on by section. Do not do this. The whole roof needs to be set upon the frame for easiest installation. I wish we had taken a video of us two senior citizens putting this together in the Florida summer. He's 74 and I am 66, if we can do it so can you. Our son in law adjusted the roof mistake. And it does not leak or move even in the heaviest coastal winds. In the winter I will be enclosing it and using it for a green house.
