I also love that you can open it completely and lay it flat to use the entire surface as a griddle! Plus each side can be set to different temps!!!! Can’t wait to make waffles in this next!

The griddle, waffle, and grill plates detach from the unit for easy cleaning without damage to the electrical components of the unit! Where has this been all my life? The plates themselves are a ceramic nonstick and it cleans up amazingly well. The unit is a huge space saver and it functions as so many small kitchen appliances. With this unit that folds, locks (and even has a cord wrap) I have replaced our ceramic griddle, our waffle maker, and a sandwich maker. My one complaint on the unit is the center grease catching compartment could be larger as we love cooking bacon and gyros on the flat griddle. It is so easy to use that my 13 year old has even been participating and making the family pancakes and perfectly crisp waffles on the weekend.

I really like the interchangeable plates, they are easy to switch out and clean and make this a much more useful and varied appliance instead of just a waffle maker. Its a great option for when you dont want to turn on the stove when its hot outside.

If this was a cheap item, I would not bother writing a review because usually you get what you pay for, but this unit is not cheap and has a couple of design flaws: - Tried to use the grill plates to make panini, but the sandwich kept sliding out from the weight of the top cover, if I put it a bit back it will slide back and out. The plates are so smooth that items just slide, I had to hold the sandwich in place and press on so that it does not slide. - This is not an appliance I'll be using daily so naturally I'll be moving it and storing it in another area of the kitchen. It would've nice if you could store it vertically on its back and vertically on its side, that is a bit weird. Otherwise, I like it you can take the plates out, easy to clean and replace with griddle or waffle.

I have been looking for a good waffle maker that wouldn’t stick. I have wasted money try several others, they were terrible. This one is not only a waffle maker but an indoor grill and full size griddle too. The plates are changeable with the press of a button and snap on easy. The plates are coated and do not stick at all. I love that I will be able to continue to grill all year long with the grill plates. The only down side I have found with this appliance is it’s kinda bulky and has several plates to store with it. It’s easy to use and a really good appliance to have around if you have the extra space.

It takes the place of 3 different appliances I used to have, and works better than each of those other ones did. The grill makes perfect burgers and chicken breasts, the griddle is great for pancakes and tortillas, and the waffle maker, well, it works fantastic for waffles. It is easy to use and easy to clean. The reason it only got 4 stars is because it is heavy and takes up a lot of room.

The waffles are just the right size. And the panini grill press plates make regular sandwiches taste much more special. We're still finding new things to make with. Nothing sticks and it all cleans up nicely. I was a little overwhelmed with it at first because the instruction book is pretty big and I've never owned anything like this before. But it was actually easy to use and I don't think you can go wrong. In fact, I warmed up the waffle plates by mistake when making paninis. I didn't want to wait for them to cool down and switch them out, so I just made my sandwich in waffle mode. It turned out great. Thanks for such a wonderful product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so very happy with my new Green Pan Elite Multi Grill, Griddle, and Waffle Maker! I have never had a waffle maker and now I have one that also has other uses! This product is very nice and cooks up all kinds of dishes very easily and quick. It's very easy to change out the cooking plates and it has also has a locking option. My favorite part is that it can be opened up into 2 separate cooking plates. You can grill on one side and/or make waffles on the other side. It's very versatile and cooks very evenly. There is a drip tray that attaches to the back, but will be in the middle if you're cooking on both sides. This helps catch any oil or grease that drains. I also love the digital settings and its very easy to use. This is a must have for every kitchen!
