Sugar Overload

Once upon a time, these used to be made of Philippines mangoes. Now they use Vietnamese mangoes. The price is lower but the flavor just isn't the same and not nearly as good.

Not as good as before

This is a good value option and the mango itself is naturally sweet. So why add extra sugar? It really takes away from what could be a great, more natural product.

Because of that, I won’t be buying it again unless they remove the added sugar—or at least offer two versions: one with no added sugar and one with added sugar.

Why the Added Sugar?

Having grown up in Hawaii, my children  and I have gone back to visit many times,  One of our favorite snacks to bring back was always dried mango, so we are overjoyed that Sam’s now sells this.  It is great tasting and soft.  The only problem with it is that it disappears so fast.  As people in Hawaii would say, “Real ono!”
