I recently got the Blippi Music Player Storybook, and my 3-year-old absolutely loves it! The interactive music player adds a fun twist to the story, keeping him engaged and entertained. The colorful illustrations and catchy tunes make reading time a blast. It’s a perfect way to combine his love for Blippi with storytelling!

This book has a hard cover with paper pages. My only negative with this product are the paper pages since my 3 year old is very independent with skimming through books and can be a bit rough. The rest of the book it's very easy for him to use on his own as far as opening player and inserting the disc's on his own. Two great features of the player is that it has a pull out handle to be carried around and a built in shelf on book itself to slip player into. The discs have a curved hole in middle that is easy enough for my toddler to put into player on his own. It's appreciated that the discs also have a built in "home" on the book. The pages in book are labeled with rich disc to play and the page states which song it relates to. The songs only play in order so if your toddler presses the button too many times you'll pass by the recommended song and have to circle back through. The pages on book are vibrant and each page is equally interesting to my toddler soccer he loves all transportation.

This is such a fun and interactive book. My daughter loves the extra music part aspect of it. It’s like a CD player so it makes my millennial soul. Very happy. The only downside that I would say it has is that the disc to be lined up a certain way, and sometimes my toddler gets frustrated when she can’t get it to work. So I would suggest definitely helping them get the properly.

This book is so cute! The kids stayed interested with the music. The book shows you where to play the "CDs". Each page states which disc and which tune. Like Disc 1, Tune 1. The story is perfect for smaller children, especially if they are Blippi fans! It's already a favorite in this house!!

This is such a fun idea for a book. My littles love music, so it’s a really fun addition while we read. The discs are also easy for kiddos to insert and the pages indicate which disc to use by color and number. My preschooler can play with this independently and feel like a big kid!

The Blippi Music Player Storybook is awesome! My little one loves pressing the button to play music as we read through the book together. The theme of vehicles—cars, trucks, tractors, and more—is a big hit! The music player is removable and comes with three different discs that play tunes. While the music doesn’t read the story aloud, it adds a fun layer of interaction while I read the book to my child. He also loves that he can take disc player separate from the book to play with. However, my little one does get a bit frustrated because the disc needs to be lined up perfectly for the player to close and play. Sometimes, they accidentally hit the open button instead of play, causing the disc to fall out. Despite that, it’s still a fun and engaging book!

My 3 and 5 year olds both enjoyed this book and "discman" style player. It's not too loud but also doesn't have any sorry of volume adjustment possible. The only thing I'd do differently is that the pages in the book are pretty thin and for kids this age, a thicker paper (not board book heavy) could be helpful.

Overall I like this set. It definitely entertains my 2 year old. The sound is loud enough to hear even when in the car. There are more than enough pages in the book to keep her going. I like that there are multiple discs. The only downside is that she doesn’t understand that the CD has to go into the player a certain way. So she gets frustrated when she’s doing it by herself. I’m sure when she’s older it will make sense.

The music player is adorable and the songs and audio could stand alone as an entertaining toy for young kids. My sons (3 and5) really enjoyed switching out the CDs and playing the music. However the partnership with the book itself was not an easy sell for my little Blippi fans. They weren’t interested in reading along and playing the appropriate songs/ sounds. I also did not find it super simple to make the connections to the music player as I read through the book.

I love the concept, especially given that things like this remind me of being a kid. My kids didn’t exactly feel the same way. Though they did want to read it and use the disk feature, it kept their attention for maybe a page then they were over it. My son does like for me to read it to him, but I think by day two the disks were lost and that feature was no longer an option.
