It does catch insects, though a few still fly around around, so the impact could be stronger. No smell at all, which is a huge plus with a toddler at home. It doesn't use any chemicals and insects are naturally attracted to the light. Just peel the backing and plug it in. Super easy to use!

The operation couldn't be simpler- you literally just plug it in and let the nlue light do all the work. In terms of placement, I put mine right by the kitchen garbage can and back door, and it's compact size means it doesn't block the second outlet at all. The materials feel high-quality and sturdy and the durability is great since there are no moving parts to break. It continously catches gnats, fruit flies and mosquitoes without any harsh chemical smells. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in Florida and every time that sliding glass door opens bugs come in it's not a great fly catcher but all the other Little critters that come in it does the job. It's easy to assemble and use. The size is pretty decent. Not sure what I could just suggest as far as power but it does what it's supposed to be that's for sure.
