You don't need a battery plugs right into the wall and the light attracts any little bugs that come in and they get stuck to the paper. It seems like it would hold quite a few little nets and flies, etc. I put it right inside my patio door to attract any little bugs that get in. I've had it there for about two days now and it is really catching them.

It is very simple to use and it is most definitely 110% reliable, since I have been having a fly issue it has gotten out of hand and I think that this has definitely helped out. Maintaining it is very simple you just plug it in and let it do its thing. It's definitely effective as I've only had it plugged in since I left out for my 13 hr shift and came back to flies already being caught.

I have been using these in my home for years. Gets rid of those pesky little bugs that fly in the Summer when you open the door. Also caught a moth that flew in. No odor or any negatives. Highly recommend this.
