This trap has effectively helped to nearly eliminate them. It was very easy to set up and was ready to use in minutes. It has also been effective for attracting the rogue mosquito that happens to get inside the house. The blue light is fairly bright and illuminates the room at night (almost like a nightlight). The trap is easy to change out when it gets full. The blue light will help remind you by occasionally blinking when it's time to change the trap. We prefer this option over spraying chemicals and feel that it is the safer choice for our family.

I got this to help reduce some of the flying bugs. I also have a sourdough starter and it's attracts fruit flies and knats so it's important I have something to keep the bugs away. You can have this in an upright position or it can be turned on its side if it fits better that way. Overall, a pretty good product!
