We also have a giant backyard and we like to keep the giant French back doors open during the evening while I'm cooking. This photo is after the first day I plugged it in!! Flying insects have been a problem in Florida during summer peak season and I really needed something that would drive the flies away. This product is very easy to install and super effective at getting rid of these flies. It covers a large area and material is very well made. Its durable and works very well.

The packaging was nice, the plug itself was odorless and larger than I expected, it was actually so large I couldn't plug anything in the outlet below so that was a bit of a bummer. It's pretty durable but i was disappointed in the effectiveness, after 3 days it only caught 2 fruit flies and I'm still seeing them flying around the kitchen so I would say the blue light that it puts off doesn't attract fruit flies. Maybe it works better on other insects.

The equipment is of good quality and the design blends in well with my decor. It seconds as a night light which works perfectly for my kitchen. After a day of use it's caught a couple of gnats.

I received this in the mail, easily pulled off the plastic sheet protector, plugged it in, and I kid you not, overnight I've already had four fruit flies attached to it! Easy to plug-in, hides the dead bugs so you don't see dead bugs on your counter. It's just great!
