I plugged it in and a day later it had already caught a few small gnats and a fly. One piece of advice I can recommend is when using this product make sure its not near a window brighter than the blue light itself. It has no sound and has no odor. All in all this is a great product especially during the warmer weather months when flying insects become more of a problem! Definitely recommend this product!

No matter how clean our kitchen is, every once in a while we get stubborn little fruit flies that drive us nuts. Setup is super easy,, product is so effective, and starts working immediately. Having the ZEVO insect trap has made collecting these bugs a breeze and even a tad bit of esthetic as it hides the trap behind this cover and give the room a nice glow. It works so well that I now have several through out my two-story home and use them year round. It's easy to use, quiet, and catches way more flying insects than I expected. I've noticed a huge difference in gnats and other flying bugs since using it. Disposing and changing the actual trap part is extremely easy. Highly recommended!
