I have it set up in my kitchen where I tend to get a lot of fruit flies and mosquitoes (because of a door that opens into the porch area). I don't like spraying any insect repellent because I have cats in the home and this is the perfect alternative. The insects are drawn to this trap instantly and the blue light is soothing to look at as well as the actual trap works with every home decor. Removal is easy and quick. Love this and am going to purchase it for several other rooms as well.

The glow of the blues actually pretty cool at night. It doesn't get hot so it is definitely safe feeling which I was worried about. The plastic is a little flimsy, but I suppose it has to be so it's not too heavy for a power plug. So I guess that actually is a big bonus. No noise at all from this little thing. It's just really crazy that it catches this many bugs. This is going to be something I keep in my house! I'm going to see blue lights all over my house. The little sticky part on the inside of the light is what catches the bugs. So the blue light glows, the bugs fly close to it and they get trapped on the inside of the light on a sticky film. But don't worry it's not close enough to the bulb to do any harm or cause an electrical issue and it doesn't get hot anyway so, I feel very safe using it. Just to reiterate.
