The produt is very sturdy and will be easy to wipe off if I need to clean it. But most importantly I Plugged it up and woke up the next morning and the gnats were gone. Also trap a few flies. I would recommend and will be adding to my list of favs!! Oh and it also provides a little night light in the kitchen. I will be placing more of these around the house . Already told my friend and family how much I like it
