It's been over a week and no smell or noise. It is right next to our fruit bowl where there are fruit flies and it hasn't caught a single one. That's why it's low rating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its ok. It does catch some gnats but for how big it is i personally would not buy this with my own money. I've purchased other products that are smaller in size that catch more gnats during the spring time in my house. One plus I will give it is its very bright at night so it's nice to have in the kitchen as a night light. Overall its just ok. It does the job but at a bare minimum level.

It has a really modern appearance and the design is pretty slick as the sticky pad is integrated seamlessly. It seems to be a great value and it doubles as a night light for the kiddos. The equipment is of good quality and the design blends in well with my decor. It seconds as a night light which works perfectly for my kitchen. After a day of use it's caught a couple of gnats.

It works so well that I now have several through out my two-story home and use them year round. It's easy to use, quiet, and catches way more flying insects than I expected. I've noticed a huge difference in gnats and other flying bugs since using it. Disposing and changing the actual trap part is extremely easy. Highly recommended!

I do have a house plant in my office where it is located though. I was very surprised to see that when I looked at the strip it had something on it! I will definitely keep this thing on and going!! Love it.
