[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Zevo Flying Insect Trap Starter Kit in my kitchen area, mostly because I'd been seeing a few carpet beetles every day. Living in NYC during the summer, honestly, any little bug is liable to find its way into the apartment somehow, so I wanted something simple that could stay plugged in without me having to spray anything around the kitchen. Setup was extremely easy. You just insert the cartridge, plug the unit into the wall outlet, and that's it. There's no noise, and I haven't noticed any odor at all, which I really appreciate. The blue light was a little jarring the first night, but I've gotten used to it. It did take about a week before it caught anything, and so far it's only caught one carpet beetle, so I can't fully speak to the overall effectiveness just yet. But seeing that it actually caught one does make me hopeful that it works. I think placement is probably going to make a big difference depending on your space. My advice would be to put it where you actually see the bugs hanging out the most, then adjust from there if needed. I may have to experiment with different outlet locations to see where it performs best. Right now, I like how quiet and low-maintenance it is, and if I start seeing it catch more over the next few days or weeks, I'd definitely buy more refills.

No more annoying bugs flying around, and I also get the piece of mind knowing it's safe to use around pets. It's easy to replace the sticky trap; just slide it out and slide the new one in. The replacements are a little expensive but you don't have to replace it until it's full of bugs. I see myself using this trap for the next few months before replacing it. Absolute life saver, especially in the summer!!

It does not ALWAYS attract them all but it does a pretty good job!! The ratio of insects before use has greatly decreased since installing these in the house!

I thing that it needs to be strategically placed for good coverage. And due to its long life span I haven't experienced the disposal yet but it does look very easy

Size is slightly bigger than I'd like but it means it catches more bugs. Safe to use around kids and animals. I recommend getting one. Refills cost slightly more than I'd like but can manage.
