Such a good rich, medium bodied red wine. Notes of plums, raspberry, blackberry and vanilla. Flavoured with ripe fruits and has a long finish. Pairs well with spicy food!!! Or even better to enjoy on the couch while watching a movie! You could also cook with this, use it in a pot pie as a reduction.

It is a great starter to the red wine world. Smooth, easy, can be chilled or just as is. Tuck the kids in for the night and have a glass before bed. Keeps well for a day or two as long as it's properly stored. Recommended for a beginner, but not a life long red winner.

I don't drink red wine often anymore, but Apothic red has been one of my favorites for a long time. I tried it at a bar event featuring a Hannibal-lector themed dinner party, and I was in love with it. It has strong flavors and a strong body behind it, so I would classify it as a rich wine.

I’ll begin by saying that I like almost everything apothic makes, but this one is my favorite. It’s a standard red blend that makes you feel like you’re drinking a much pricier wine than this. This is one of my regular wine purchases when I’m looking to buy wine.

Warning I am not a red wine person, maybe when I get older but now I just don't have a taste for it.BUT this is good. It is also extremely aesthetically pleasing in terms of the bottle. If I had to drink a red, I would drink this. Their whites are also good. 

On the nose there's an earthy oak quality at the forefront. There's a hint of dark cherry and plum. The wine is smooth and easy to drink (or chug depending on how your day is going). There is tart cherry and acidity that hits you at the back of the mouth. The wine is full of juicy fruit notes. Even though this wine is sweet, the vanilla and oak notes on the tongue elevates this wine. Just because this wine is easy to drink doesn't mean it is one note. The finish is sweet, there is a touch of dryness that the sweetness and acidity overpower.

well not one of my favorites, still a pretty yummy delight. The apothic flavors are very strong and bitter, and sometimes have sweet undertones.. pairs very well with cheese, particularly sharp cheddar cheese, and possibly oysters have been my favorite combination.

The taste is excellent, but apothic red gives everyone in my family a headache and lockjaw. It's hard to enjoy a bottle of wine when it is so strong that it is slightly painful to drink. If the part of the wine that does that doesn't impact you then it's fine, but I only drink one glass at a time to avoid the headache

Apothic is always a pretty safe choice - I haven't met many who don't enjoy this. I'm far from a wine connoisseur, but I like my red wine. This isn't the top wine on my list but I'll always say yes if someone offers me a glass of apothic red. This makes a great gift, I gave 6 bottles out this year for Christmas gifts and all were well received.

Very good taste.  The bottle itself draws you in as it has such a beautiful logo on the front.  Definitely something worth trying if you're skeptical on trying new brands of wine.  This is not a sweet one, so if you don't like dry wines, would not recommend.
