This wine has a great taste, but unfortunately gave me horrible heartburn! (Happens sometimes with certain brands). I love sipping red wine while relaxing. But if it gives me heartburn I usually won’t purchase again. I know it’s not like that for everyone.

This wine was ok. I have been spoiled by my close proximity to El Dorado wine country, as I have been drinking local wines lately. This wine is still an ok option for red wines and you can find it all over. The taste is a little tart and a tad like a vinegar for my preference, but I still enjoy drinking this wine when it is available.

This is one of my favorite red wines ever. I remember first trying it with a friend after randomly picking it up at the liquor store and how much we both really liked it. It has a nice mellow flavor for a red, nice bouquet, not too many tannins and a sharp, but clean finish. Definitely one if my go-to wines when I want a glad to relax or share with friends.

A couple of years ago, my sister told me about this wine and ever since it has been our go to wine for when we get together and when we are not together too. It’s a nice blend and I recommend it to all my friends, especially if they are trying to acquire a taste for wine.

It’s a good blend for the price Medium to full in the body. I thought it definitely lived up to the hype. I would create it in a magnum size. It’s affordable anywhere I’ve seen it and I will keep repurchasing it. It’s a transition red blend something to begin with if you’re just getting into wine.

My stepdaughter is a big red wine fan and had me try this. I wasnt a big fan, it was a little strong tasting to me and dry. I'm not that big of a wine drinker and prefer sweeter wines so I'm probably not the person to look to for suggestions on red wine.

A great, cheap dinner wine. Keep a couple of bottles of this in your collection for times when you have people over but don't want to bust out the expensive stuff. Pairs well with meat and pasta. Full bodied without a lot of tannins. Would definitely please a newer wine drinker.

Great red wine with bold yet smooth flavor. Apothic has always done a good job when it comes to a full bodied red. Pairs great with a steak or a creamy pasta. I find the brand to be an affordable option without losing flavor that you might expect from a cheaper brand. Highly recommend

This has been one of my family’s favorites for years now. It has a great depth to it and pears really well with any dark meat. Specifically steak or roast. Whenever I need to take a housewarming gift or party drink, I also love to take the apothecary because I haven’t yet found someone who isn’t a fan. Highly recommend.

Ooh, how sweet and decedent this wine is…the fond memories it brings of not-so-romantic, cheap dates and a filthy house… Aside from those exact memories, Apothic is A+++ and I would recommend it to everyone all the time, even if you aren’t a wine person (which I am not really).
