The metal handle was really nice, it is easier to clean than the plastic version, and the shower attachment that allows it to stick to the wall is also very helpful as it keeps the argan oil from dissolving too quickly. It shaves nicely, and the argan oil leaves a nice smooth finish on my skin, but it does dissolve quickly and the blade loses the argan oil in about a week of usage.

I usually have thick hairs that grow all over my legs, which makes shaving them incredibly difficult to do without leaving behind stubby bits of hair and lots of redness and irritation, but this razor gave me none of that! One stroke on each section of my leg was plenty enough to remove all the stubborn hair! No added force needed whatsoever! When I first took the razor out of the box, I was immediately able to smell the scent of the Argan Oil coming off the moisture bars. It was pretty pungent at first, but once I started using it in the shower, the smell gradually faded out and became gentle and pleasant. One of my favorite things about this razor is how sturdy the handle is. It’s made of metal, and has some weight to it, but feels incredibly comfortable in my hands. The moisture bars were super effective as well. They became nice and sudsy after soaking them in the warm water for a couple minutes and made my skin feel silky smooth and soft! Definitely worth every penny! I look forward to stocking up on these from this point on!

The razor does work well, and it’s nice to not have to use shaving cream with the moisture bars. The metal handle is durable, but at times can feel heavy. I do like the holder it came with, but there are other options on the market that are magnetic and I find that more convenient. It does have a nice scent to it also with the moisture bars. I had gotten away from Venus due to less expensive high quality options on the market, but it looks like Venus is now more affordable than I remember. Nice to have the refill option too. Great product.
