Bought the 36 gun safe from Sams last week. Two employees helped me load it on flat truck and then on my trailer as the safe weighed 405 lbs. I and my lovely wife were able to off load it on to a hand truck and take into house. Upon stripping the packaging away we found the safe to be scratch free. The safe has a great fire rating and even water proof (up to two feet) for 7 days. You don't get this good of fire rating and no water proofing at all for this money. Added bonus inside is the LED lighting, two outlets and USB port! Plus, it comes with two backup keys. It has 8 total locking bolts, 3 non moving on hinge side, 3 moving on left side, one top and one bottom moving bolts. All in all lots more bonus add ons for an entry level safe than from Another Supply. Want a safe without all the scratches and dings, go pick one up yourself from Sams.

This is a solid investment into home gun safety as well protection of your firearms. I am totally pleased with this safe. No, it's not top tier but neither is it anything to laugh at. Truthfully, it IS very competitive with similar safes being offered at other big box stores but coming in at a much better price. The only reason I give it 4 Stars and not 5 is that it lacks the feature of biometric (thumbprint) quick unlock access.

This is a quality safe, with a lot of features at this price point. It's not as big or heavy as you would expect from a "36-gun" safe, and moving it was fairly easy. The Sam's staff was super helpful, and they use a forklift with longer forks to set the safe on a trailer I rented from Home Depot to move it. Also rented an appliance dolly and that made moving the safe into the house much easier. Assembly was easy and straight forward, and unlike other reviews, the safe was in perfect condition after removing the packaging. The safe is well protected by styrofoam and cardboard all around. I would highly recommend buying this safe if you need a good entry to mid-level gun safe!

Beware. Currently waiting for my 3rd replacement as the first 2 both arrived damaged! Have little faith the 3rd won't also arrived damaged. Something is very wrong with how these are stored/transported. If you buy, I would recommend opening and checking the safe before the shipping company leaves. Very disappointed.

I held the carrier upon arrival so i could open package. Upon opening found 3 dings, a big scratch, and a bent corner with paint completely gone. For this price I would expect a "Brand New" un damaged product upon arrival. I refused the order and will pick it up from store assuming I can get a safe that has no dings upon purchase. Yes it is on the cheap end for safes, but it definitely should arrive un damaged.

My husband and I recently purchased this from Sams Club in Waukesha, WI and first of all the associates who helped us load it into our car were teenagers who clearly could not lift a 400 pound safe, they were careless in loading. Also, the employees at this club picked the safe with the most damaged box. We did get it home and opened the box and there was corrosion and rust on the bottom of the safe, followed by multiple areas of paint chips and dents…. At this point I'm so disappointed in the quality safe that we purchased. Sams Club wouldn't even give us a full refund for a completely damaged product that who knows can even be fire proof or waterproof anymore

I have multiple safes, this is by far the worst i have seen. The seams are cracked, the bottom is dented and cracked, paint is scraped off the edges. The inside walls were falling. The door is extremely hard to close and has a big gap. Definitely do not recommend. Pay 200 more and go to cabelas

This item arrived dented in several places.
