AWESOME GRIPPING TIRES

The Tires I was looking for were Reviewed VERY carefully as tires, brakes and windshield wipers are my main Safety concerns for my Vehicles. I wanted to make sure I picked the best All Season Tire that Grips Wonderful on dry, wet, and even on the Ice and Snow, Atleast what little we get in Alabama. This Tires are extremely quiet and Ride comfortably that I now have to keep looking to see how fast Im going, The corner Wonderful with very little Body Roll. I have ALWAYS ordered Good year tires But said next time I would try Michelin and so far they have not failed me or my Traction light hasnt come on. I do drive my Elantra Coupe hard with 180HP and these tires do the job. Highly Highly Recommend these tires to anyone.

6 months and satisfied

I don't understand how so many customers find Premiers so noisy. I read reviews before purchasing and decided to take a chance on them anyway. I like the idea of great traction - even with worn tires. The Forester came with Yokohama Geolander GO35, and I replaced them with Kumho ECSTA HP4. I think the Premiers are as quiet as either of those tires, and the ride is fine. I based my final decision using an online tire retailer's user ratings with all categories being excellent/superior. We had a mild winter in Iowa - so no deep snow since I bought these on December 15, 2015. We drive in town and on the highway. Fuel mileage is about the same.

Best purchase in 2014

I've had the tires for more than three months. These may be the best tires that I've ever had. I am keeping my car of 10 years or 200K and thought I would not make it because the previous set of tires, Bridgestones, were under performing. The OEM Michelins on my 2006 Honda Accord were ok. The Bridgestones were pretty good for the first 30,000 miles. However, the Michelin Premiers are outstanding. My car rides quieter and better now than when I got it. What a surprise? I'll definitely be keeping my car for another year.

Great tires!

I’ve had these tires on my ‘16 Ford Focus since September of 2018 and have put almost 40k miles on them. They are way better than the stock tires that came on the car! They did not affect my gas mileage, are quite on the road (expressway too), and I’m not sure why people are having issues with them prematurely wearing because mine still have more than half of the tread left! I religiously rotate them though (every 6-7k miles). They perform well in all weather conditions. Highly recommend!

Quiet Ride - Decibels measured

Have an app on my iphone and had purposefully measured the decibels on my old tires and compared to the new Premiers - 10+ decibels quieter. Not sure how any other reviews could be claiming how they wear, as this tire was just released in April of this year; but happy to be back in the "Michelin fold"...;o)

Decline in Fuel Economy

I purchased four Premier A/S tires for my Hyundai Sonata late 2014. Though I like its better grip on snow and ice, I have noticed a decline in fuel economy this summer. I usually got 33.xx last year, now its 31.xx. A two mile drop is quite significant. maybe a price to pay for a better grip ?

Great Wet Weather Traction...HORRIBLE LIFE

Bought 4 tires for my 2017 Ford Fusion Energi Plug-In Hybrid and the tires instantly performed better than the OEM tire. Wet weather traction was phenominal. Areas where I used to hydroplane were not a problem anymore. HOWEVER, tire life is POOR. I'm at 3/32 after about 25,000 miles on all four. I have them regularly rotated and balanced. If this product didn't have a warrantee I would be very upset.

Horrible tread wear! Only got 38,000 miles

I am extremely disappointed in the tread life of these tires. 38,000 miles out of 60,000 is not acceptable. Tires were balanced and rotated regularly and wore evenly. The only good news is that I felt very safe with these tires in both wet and dry conditions.

Wearing too fast

These Premier A/S was on my 2017 Pacifica we bought closer to 2018. We only use it during thr months of Nov to March about 3000kms at the most per season as we have after market wheels and tires during the other months. So pretty much 9000kms and it is probably already worn down to 50% left tread on it. I have been loyal to Michelin tires and always pay the premium. In fact my snow tires are Michelin and my other car also has Michelin snow tires. I must say this has not lived up to Michelin's reputation.

Completely Satisfied!

I got 65K miles with Premier A/S and replaced it with the same tire today (Dec 2019) on my 2011 Ford Fusion. The tires were purchased in Jan 2016. I never rotated the tires. I had 2/32 left on the front and 4/32 on the back. BTW, the car when new came with the Energy Saver. I got 77K miles off those tires. It was a tough decision on Premier A/S vs Energy Saver. It mainly came down to being able to get the Premier A/S for $30 less per tire.
