I love me some dark beer and this one has all the flavor I want. I drink them at my favorite Irish pub any chance I get. They are great alone or you can mix with other beers for unique flavors. I love it with a Blue Moon and my hubby loves his with Angry Orchard.

Great in recipes!!

I do not drink this lol instead I use it in my recipes that call for beer!! Today because it’s St. Patrick’s Day I’m making a corned beef with this and will shred it up later for sandwiches. This beer gives a unique flavor to meats, stews and soups!!!!

Guinness is Guinness. Have to have my yearly Guinness for St. Patrick's Day. I definitely prefer the Extra Stout version but the price is never right. My biggest complaint is that regular Guinness is only 3.5% and I can get similar local options for cheaper or the same price that are higher alcohol.

I’m not going to give the bottles lower than 5 stars cause I just love Guinness that much. However, having said this, I would never drink bottled Guinness. This is just not where the party’s at. Whenever anyone says they don’t like Guinness, I know they haven’t had it on tap. Draft is the best way. Taking that first sip is as comforting and soothing as nice tight hug from a favorite person you haven’t seen in months. It’s the perfect cold weather beer. It’s like drinking coffee, only better. My next recommendation is if you’re not drinking draft, BUY THE CANS. This is the closest to draft it’ll taste. And for the love of god, don’t drink it out of the can. But wait! Don’t just pour. Drinking Guinness is an art and there’s a specific way to do it. Crack open the can, let it air out a few seconds, and theeeen pour it into a glass. Get all that foamy goodness out. It’s the best part. Enjoy.

Love this beer. I'm a fan of stout beer and this is my go to. It's a touch on the pricey side but nothing crazy. This is a full bodied beer with a smooth feel to it. The packaging is simple and classic. They no longer use the same barrels to store them which I believe had some type of animal product, so Guinness is now vegan friendly.

This is easily my favorite dark beer, and quite possibly in my favorite of all bottled beers. It's dark, and to me it's coffee-like, creamy, and flavorful! I just recently bought this beer again and am becoming a bit of a Guinness snob!! I highly recommend!!!!!

I really like guiness as a general guideline for dark beer. It's an easy and quick option if I want a stout type and dont want to go searching. I only rated it 3 stars however, because these days there are so many good 'craft' options. Given like 5 years ago, I would have rated it higher, but there are so many other good options now. Still a great old standby!

Guinness Extra Stout is my go to beer! It’s just the right blend of spices to make it taste great, and give you an Ah! Face, never a bitter beer face! Luv the Extra Stout cold or warm! Oh, and it is served cold in Ireland, people think it’s only served warm there!
