Always my favorite beer and Sam's has it at a reasonable price.

Hands down, Guinness is the best beer out there, available in America, anyway.  Rich and foamy, very satisfying, it definitely has it's presence.  Poured into a glass, it has a creamy, satisfying head.  When I want to reach for something familiar, I always grab a Guinness.

I tried this beer because someone suggested stout beers to me since I like dark beers with chocolate or caramel undertones to it. This is a dry stout without any of those undertones so it wasn’t my favorite. However I did add a little vanilla to it and it then became a nice beer to me. Lots of people like it just not my type of stout.

I’ve had Guinness straight from the tap in Dublin, and this is as close as you can get in the states to the freshness of the “real” stuff. It’s frothy and smooth and goes down to easily that you’ll forget you’re drinking beer sometimes. I like the idea of the little ball inside to help make the Guinness “head” on the brew. Best poured into a glass, not drank from the bottle.

This is my husbands go to beer always. Its heavy and wonderful in his opinion. Not really my thing but im not much of a drinker. He said there is nonway to make it better. Its perfect and always has been. Top of the line. Not crazy expensive and it is definately an aquired taste. Its very dark.

Great in recipes!!

I do not drink this lol instead I use it in my recipes that call for beer!! Today because it’s St. Patrick’s Day I’m making a corned beef with this and will shred it up later for sandwiches. This beer gives a unique flavor to meats, stews and soups!!!!

Guinness is Guinness. Have to have my yearly Guinness for St. Patrick's Day. I definitely prefer the Extra Stout version but the price is never right. My biggest complaint is that regular Guinness is only 3.5% and I can get similar local options for cheaper or the same price that are higher alcohol.

Guinness is my all time favorite beer. It's best on tap or in a can but the bottled version is still great too. The flavor is full and rich but despite the opinion of many that "it's a meal", it actually has fewer calories than many other beers and is loaded with iron, folate, and other nutrients. I like how the alcohol content is on the low side for a beer too, I have never had a hangover from drinking Guinness. There is some truth to their old slogan "Guinness is good for you".
