Maybe by quantitative stands this is not a truly great beer, but I love it. In the old days this was the most interesting beer that was readily available. Put that together with a wonderful anniversary trip to Ireland and tracking down the local Guinness (albeit a sugary mess) in Africa, and this will always have a sentimental place as a personal favorite. Thick, creamy head if you pour it right. The lingering lacing reveals every long drink. Smoky, malty, smooth, and delicious. The dry finish is key to the balance, staving off the sweetness that plagues some stouts.

I'm really impressed with the bottle draft versions of Guinness although I much prefer the 16oz can version. They carbonate very similar to the cans and if you feel like you have a tinny taste to the can this is an option to have very similar experience

Guinness is meant to be drank on tap. NOT IN A BOTTLE. Guinness might be my favourite beer in the world, but I will never order it in a bottle. It's flat. And warm. And not good. I do not drink this lol instead I use it in my recipes that call for beer!! Today because it's St. Patrick's Day I'm making a corned beef with this and will shred it up later for sandwiches. This beer gives a unique flavor to meats,stews and soups!!!!

This is my favorite beer ever. If you don't have a kegerator and can't get to the pub, this is the next best thing. Pour into your favorite beer glass and wait for it to settle. I like to call the act of watching the bubbles settle my "moment of beer meditation". Don't we all need to take a moment to stop and just relax?

I like Guinness because it has a pretty strong flavor and it's not super foamy like most. I also think that it has a consistent quality taste and luckily it's available at most bars and at most stores however it is a little more pricey than the average beer but for the extra money you get better flavor.

I love stout beers, and they can sometimes be hard to find. If a place doesn't have a great selection of stouts, this is always a good beer to fall back on. It says it has coffee and chocolate undertones, but it isn't near as much as other stouts I prefer.

The only beer I drink. It's basically in my culture as someone from the Caribbean to drink this beer. There is nothing to improve as the taste, bottle and product details are all superb. I don't drink all the time but when I have an occasional drink this is always my first choice.

The color is dark coffee. The aroma is pale malt. The foam is formed dense, creamy, very resistant and adheres to the walls of the glass. The taste is soft, slightly creamy with a moderate bitterness, as well as a slight sourness in a rather long aftertaste and bitter-chocolate notes. This is my husbands go to beer always. Its heavy and wonderful in his opinion. Not really my thing but im not much of a drinker. He said there is nonway to make it better. Its perfect and always has been. Top of the line. Not crazy expensive and it is definately an aquired taste. Its very dark.
