The lunch box helps a lot for children's lunch, but for dry products, since if you put food that has some liquid, everything is watered while closed, an example when putting watermelon (the juice that the watermelon has was watered all). 3 days after purchase it fell and the internal part broke but the outside was marked by the strong blow that the lunch box had.

We love the Bentgo lunchbox. Had a smaller one for my now 3rd grader, but needed to upgrade to fit more food as she grows. This lunchbox gives us the flexibility to put a full size sandwich in it by removing the divider, or keep the divider for smaller portions of different items. Doesn't leak, easy to clean, and we will continue being Bentgo fans.

Purchased these a year ago after reading so much praise on different websites and forums. I purchased them through a warehouse retailer and they came as a set of 3, green, blue, purple. I have 3 kids in Elementary school so purchased 2 sets to switch day/night washings. My kids love packing their own lunches and easily fill the sections which help with portions. We love that a WHOLE sandwich fits. My oldest may need a bigger adult one when he goes to middle school next year. I love that I’m not using a bunch of plastic bags or containers anymore for their lunches. These bentgo boxes have saved us time and money! Cons: the divider can easily slide out. We found my son had thrown his away in the trash once. Small drink/juice cartons do not fit. Instead we had to switch to drink pouches, and because you can squish them they fit. The shell gets easily scratched and dented on the playground asphalt after lunch and can sometimes be sharp. Some chips will stain the inner seals: like bbq and cheese flavored. Of all the times we’ve used them, they only leaked twice; once with watermelon and once with frozen strawberries.

We use these for packing school lunch and they have been great! A generous amount of space and dividers to keep it all organized. I am very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend. Customer service was great as well. We lost one of the dividers and they are generously sending a replacement!

We have owned several bentgo boxes, starting with the bentgo kid. What I love about them is it makes packing lunch easy. The kids know, one section holds their protein, one their fruit, one their vegetable and one their grain. It makes me confident that they can pack their own lunch and get a well balanced diet. The bentgo kids was the perfect size for kindergarten and below, but as we started to try to stuff whole sandwiches into it over time it eventually did crack and break. So definitely size up rather than stuff it! Bentgo was great though and they do stand behind them for 2 years and replaced it since it was just under 2 years (they definitely aren't flimsy but kids are tough on things!). I love the bentgo fresh as it has plenty of room for my 2-4th graders, I even have been know to pack them more than they can eat in it. There have been 2 issues with the bentgo fresh, one has been the hinge on both of the two we own eventually broke when dropped just at the right angle. Luckily my husband was able to fix both with baking soda and super glue which made me happy they didn't end up in the land fill (I am sure bentgo would have helped us out with a replacement). And one of them has been going strong for over a year with this fix (the other was dropped recently). To avoid this problem I am trying out the bentgo pop for my 3rd child. The hinges seem to be protected here so hopefully we won't have to worry about them. And the second problem has been the dividers getting thrown away. I love the divider and it seems to fit very snuggly, but somehow my children find a way to not come home with them. I do not know if they bang their food out when emptying them and they fall out, but unfortunately bentgo does not sell replacements. Hopefully they will change this as they already sell replacements for utensils and other parts that easily wander away. Overall we have really enjoyed ours, they make school lunches easy and are great for traveling (car or plane) as they easily sit in their lap. Hopefully my review helps others avoid a few of the hassles we had along the way!

This lunch box is the best of all worlds - you get the compartments that the other Bentgo boxes offer, while still having the space to fit a full serving of whatever food you're including. I can put applesauce in one of the small compartments and a sandwich in the large, and confidently know the bread won't be soggy when my child opens it up 6 hours later. The clips feel sturdy, but are still easy for my 3.5 and 5 year old to open independently.

We bought three of these a year ago when our son started preschool. We have found it a perfect way to pack his lunch every day. The separate sections are a fun way to present his lunch, and we don’t have to worry about using ziploc bags or other disposables to pack his snacks. Our 3 year old finds it easy to open and eat from on his own.

We've never used lunch boxes for our kids, but this made the kids enjoy their lunches more. They help pack each item into each section and it gets them more engaged in making their lunch with us and also get them to eat it more of the time. They have never leaked and have been a great addition for our summer camps this year.

The Bentgo fresh is my favorite lunch box! I started with the Bentgo kids lunch box but it wasn't as functional for my kids as the Bentgo Fresh is. The depth is perfect as well as the number of compartments. I also really like the removable divider which makes it easier to adjust with different types of lunches that I pack for my kids.

Bought this for my 2 year old to bring her lunch to “school”. We love it. I love the size of the compartments and that they are individually sealed when the box is closed- keeps dry contents crisp and totally separate from moist contents. My 2 year old opens and closes it independently.
