This coffee was roasted in Denver, Colorado. I did a little research and found that they roast it at a higher altitude for a shorter amount of time at a lower temperature, making sure the beans don't burn. Some of the funds go to help the farming communities to build schools for the next generation. But really, it has a great flavor and there are even other flavors to choose from. I would have added other pictures but the coffee is all gone. It's a really good coffee. We like to ground our own beans and then enjoy the coffee. Feels like it is homemade. We give it 5 stars.

I make my own blends. This decaf when blended, retains the boldness flavor with the full leaded coffee but allows for toning down the caffeine and just enjoy the flavor.

Boyer’s Mountain Roast Decaffeinated Coffee is an aromatic, flavorful coffee. From the moment the bag was opened, the pleasant aroma of roasted coffee beans was immediately evident. Once ground and brewed, the result was a very tasty cup of coffee. I would describe the flavor as balanced, neither too bold nor mild. Overall, I was very happy with the product. Decaffeinated coffee is usually too mild a flavor or too acidic. This was neither. Highly recommended.

What a nice surprise! This decaf coffee tastes like regular. I was a little worried that the dark roast was going to be bitter but it has a nice aroma. It’s flavorful without being bitter. I’m a “medium roast” coffee person but this fits the bill using the standard amount of grounds.

I have been trying to cut my daily caffeine uptake and this is a great find for a replacement coffee. It has a rich and smooth flavor with nut and chocolate under tones. I can't tell any difference from regular coffee. I sleep better too and don't feel cheated by drinking decaf.

This coffee is really enjoyable. And great flavor and a great aroma. I enjoy coffee and even with this being Decaf it was nice to know there is more selection at sams then just Folgers decaf. I would recommend this to my mother as she can’t really have caffeine in her diet.

A great decaf dark roast. The only negative is that Boyer's once packaged this coffee in 2.5 pound bags. To save money they've reduced that to 2.25 pounds and increased the price. Not okay!!

I have bought and enjoyed this locally roasted Decaf for many years. The last two bags have had a strong chemical smell that masked the rich coffee smell and taste that I am used to. Boyer's, Please bring back the robust coffee bean so I can start buying this again. Sam's, if Boyer's cannot fix this, please source a strong (preferable water method) Decaf coffee.

I had difficulty finding any allergen warnings for this but risked it anyway bc I needed some coffee beans that were decaf. I believe there is still caffeine in this and cross contamination occurring with production because I have IC and food sensitivities - this coffee was the only “new” thing in my diet and I am experiencing a brutal bladder flare up and severe gastrointestinal distress. I have pawned this coffee off on someone who can drink it. It was also weak, blunt, acidic and the roast wasn’t very dark. It lacked any balance or depth to the flavor even adjusting the grind and brew.
