Guinness is my all time favorite beer. It's best on tap or in a can but the bottled version is still great too. The flavor is full and rich but despite the opinion of many that "it's a meal", it actually has fewer calories than many other beers and is loaded with iron, folate, and other nutrients. I like how the alcohol content is on the low side for a beer too, I have never had a hangover from drinking Guinness. There is some truth to their old slogan "Guinness is good for you".

Oddly enough for someone who only drinks occasionally I am a huge fan of Guinness. This one is the closest thing to getting it on tap. I don’t like it extra cold. I prefer to drink it from a warm glass as the flavor is better. If it’s too cold it doesn’t taste right.

I wasn't sure about

I wasn't sure about trying it because I'm normally not fond of similar drinks but my husband got some and I tried a sip and it's actually pretty good. Definitely would get it to drink myself some time too. It's one of my husband's favorites and always recommends.

I am not a big fan of draught beers, Guinness is no exception. It is supposed to taste closer to beer served in Ireland, but to me it doesn’t, I still like Guinness Extra Stout in bottles that we get in US. Maybe, just being in Ireland makes it taste better!

Not the same without the nitrogen balls. Not even comparable. I still like this beer but it's not nearly the same as from the tap or they nitros. If you like the bitter notes you might prefer this. There is something about that mouth feel that I prefer.

I'm really impressed with the bottle draft versions of Guinness although I much prefer the 16oz can version. They carbonate very similar to the cans and if you feel like you have a tinny taste to the can this is an option to have very similar experience

You can never go wrong with a Guinness. Love using these to make Black and Tans or eclipses as well. Love having a Guinness with my dads home cooked Irish meals! I tried visiting the Guinness factory in Dublin but they were closed for St. pats. Will need to make another trip!

I really like guiness as a general guideline for dark beer. It's an easy and quick option if I want a stout type and dont want to go searching. I only rated it 3 stars however, because these days there are so many good 'craft' options. Given like 5 years ago, I would have rated it higher, but there are so many other good options now. Still a great old standby!

Guinness is a unique beer. I know people who drink it at room temperature, personally, I prefer it cold. I think Guinness gets a bad rap. It’s really a smooth and hardly has any carbonation. I enjoy it on draft/draught or in a glass bottle like this. I think everyone should try a glass of Guinness, at least once!

Although Guinness is truly at

Although Guinness is truly at its best when it is poured from the tap, when you're at home and in a pinch, their bottled beer is a fine alternative. For anyone who hasn't had Guinness and isn't used to dark or stout beers, it is a rich, delicious, and malty beer. It doesn't have a strong taste of hops compared to something like an IPA, and has a wonderful smooth texture. If you aren't the biggest beer drinker, Guinness can be a wonderful introduction, as it was for me back when I thought I hated beer. It is still one of my default choices when I'm at a bar that doesn't have good dark craft beer choices, or when I want to go for a familiar brand.
