If anyone is looking for a good sugar substitute, Classic Monkfruit is the best! I’ve used stevia for years, but didn’t care for the taste in my coffee. Classic Monkfruit measures and TASTES just like sugar. We all know the benefits of cutting back on sugar. Sugar feeds any inflammation in your body (arthritis, anyone?) and the more sugar you consume, the more you crave. Oh, and since I started using Monkfruit in my tea and coffee, I’ve craved a lot fewer sweets and lost 15 pounds. Yes, it is a little pricier than some other sugar substitutes, but it is all natural and definitely worth it to me.

The best non sugar on the market. No mouth cooling effect as with Stevia, which I find a show stopper. I have been using Lakanto for about 3 years and find no aftertaste with hot drinks or baking items. I use Lakanto brown sugar (golden granulated) in hot cereal and fruit with no taste difference.

I can't tell the difference between this and sugar taste-wise, but I can feel the difference in my body. No sugar cravings, no sugar crashes, no sugar related extra appetite. It tastes perfect sprinkled on fruit, and bakes so well I am curious to know what's better about the baking monkfruit recipe! My banana bread has become a daily staple and I get to have a reasonably sized piece without guilt or regret. Definitely going to keep this stuff around.

My husband makes sweet tea and always uses sugar that he makes a simple sugar with. He was advised to watch his sugar intake and so we got the Lacanto Classic white monk fruit sweetener for him to try. He’s finding it easy to use and says the taste is just as good as sugar.

I started using Lakanto monk fruit sugar about a year ago to cut back on sugar but still wanting to bake great cookies and desserts. This past September I entered a cheesecake in our County Fair baked with Lakanto golden sugar in the filling and crust. I’ve never been a fan of sugar substitutes before this product! Same texture as sugar, no after taste, no “side effects”. We were even able to use to make mojitos! My kids didn’t notice a difference and I didn’t feel as guilty enjoying these sweet treats!!

I love this sweetener from putting sugar in my tea and being able to bake with it is really amazing. The thing that got me to be a believer is the lack of after taste. Husband is diabetic and loves sweet ice tea. We have tried all artificial sweeteners and he doesn’t like any of them. I found this sweetener and ordered it. He tried it and said I can do this one. We have ordered more since then. Will be a customer for life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this sweetener about 9 months ago to make a batch of healthier chocolate personal sized cakes. They did not turn out well at all (cacao is never going to taste good in my opinion) and I put the sweetener aside for a while. Just last week I was a part of Lakanto Party where we made chocolate chip cookies and I was amazed at the taste of the batter! It tasted EXACTLY like chocolate chip cookies made with conventional sugar and brown sugar. Zero calorie, zero glycemic jump, zero calorie, and 1:1 with sugar in recipes, what more could you want!
