Not happy. Supposed to be able to use this instead of sugar and both recipes I used it in failed. Simple syrup and glazed pecans. The sample syrup actually had large crystals appearing after cooling. The glaze on the pecans also became very granular after cooling.

If anyone is looking for a good sugar substitute, Classic Monkfruit is the best! I’ve used stevia for years, but didn’t care for the taste in my coffee. Classic Monkfruit measures and TASTES just like sugar. We all know the benefits of cutting back on sugar. Sugar feeds any inflammation in your body (arthritis, anyone?) and the more sugar you consume, the more you crave. Oh, and since I started using Monkfruit in my tea and coffee, I’ve craved a lot fewer sweets and lost 15 pounds. Yes, it is a little pricier than some other sugar substitutes, but it is all natural and definitely worth it to me.

I started using Lakanto monk fruit sugar about a year ago to cut back on sugar but still wanting to bake great cookies and desserts. This past September I entered a cheesecake in our County Fair baked with Lakanto golden sugar in the filling and crust. I won 1st place, best in show and 1st place for seniors in the perishable food contest. I think that says a lot for this wonderful product. Thanks Lakanto

I have recently started using the Lakanto sweetener in all of my baking. I have tried several other brands but they always left a weird taste in the food. With Lakanto you can’t tell the difference from regular sugar. It is amazing tastes and acts like sugar and I love the fact that it is 1:1 so no having to try and figure out how much to use!

I have really enjoyed knowing the monkfruit sweetener is much healthier than many, if not all, of the other substitute sweeteners. So many chemicals in everything else and if you're trying to cut back on traditional sugar this is an outstanding alternative.

I use this at least a few times a week with my tea lattes. This product outshines other fake sugars by a long shot. I don't feel like I'm giving up sweet desserts or sweet black tea in the morning when I use this. I've converted my mom as well. I highly recommend this product to anyone on the fence.

I was diagnosed with Diabetes last December and it has been a struggle to find a sweetener that i am A) not allergic to B) can be used for cooking and baking without causing cancer C) tastes nice Then a friend in the states told me she uses monkfruit. It's not sold here but a 3rd party website has it. It took weeks to arrive but oh my god. This is the ultimate sweetener for me. I even made Pumkin Spice Syrup on Saturday and is was awesome. I keep telling people how awesome it is, friends & colleagues, & even merchants who call in. The only thing is that the website who ships it here has not all products & i so woukd love to try them but Lakanto doesnt ship internationally :(

We purchased Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener, hoping it would be a safe alternative for my diabetic husband. We used it to make lemonade, thinking we were making a healthy choice. But what followed was a nightmare. The erythritol in this sweetener triggered a bilateral pulmonary embolism, nearly costing my husband his life. We were lucky he survived, but I wouldn’t wish this terrifying experience on anyone. If you or a loved one are diabetic, please think twice before using this product. Consult your doctor and consider the risks. Your health is too important to gamble with.
