Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried Lakanto's white Monkfruit sweetener a couple of ways so far and found it to be a fairly good replacement for regular sugar. There was a recipe on the Lakanto website for a skinny margarita mix and I tried it; I made a simple syrup with the sweetener and did notice that once it cooled down, the sweetener crystallized and separated from the water, but that was easily taken care of by mixing/shaking the syrup. The skinny mix was terrific and not too sweet. Also, I baked some cookies with a recipe sent to me with the sweetener. Although my husband liked the cookies, I found that they baked much differently with the sweetener than they would with regular sugar, and came out rather hard. I am a baker, so that is the reason for the 4 stars from me. The sweetener is a good product for those of us who need to watch our sugars as it has a zero glycemic index and is naturally made from Monkfruit. Thanks to the folks at Tryazon and Lakanto for giving me this opportunity to try the sweetener. #sweetresponsibly #discoveryourchi #lankanto #Tryazon

I admit! I drank the Kool-Aid!

I originally bought the Lakanto White Sugar Replacement to use strictly in my morning coffee. After a change in my work schedule, I was looking for something sweet to drink after coming home. Stuff like iced tea, Coke, or Sprite just didn't work, partly because I didn't want to have caffeine at that time in the evening, but mostly because I didn't want to spend the extra money. I recalled that while growing up in the summer, we would take ordinary Kool-Aid and make it with a common non-calorie liquid sweetener (because my older sisters didn't want the extra calories). I decided to see if Lakanto would work with that. After some experiments, I found my best results were when I filled the pitcher 3/4 full of water, mix in the Lakanto and stir, then fill it the rest of the way and let it sit in the fridge to let the Lakanto dissolve and to chill the water (usually overnight). The next morning I add in the Kool-Aid and stir, and I have a sugar-free flavored drink. The Kool-Aid recipe calls for 1 cup sugar, but I prefer it when I use a little over 3/4 cup Lakanto. I've also learned that when I want a little extra "kick", I can mix this prepared Kool-Aid half and half with Diet Sprite, to still keep it mostly calorie free.

Best alternative sweetener!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sugar from Tryazon as part of the Lankanto Tryazon Party pack. I loved baking with this sugar, I literally can’t tell tell that it isn’t regular sugar! I probably won’t buy any other sugar now knowing how much better it is for my body. Love this stuff!

Great tasting!

I am a type 2 diabetic that was formerly on prescription diabetic medication. Several years ago I made the decision to go on keto to control my blood sugar without a prescription. I have been successful in accomplishing that within a couple of months and have been off all diabetic medications for years. The one thing that is difficult for me is that I have a sweet tooth. I have tried all of the artificial sweeteners. I do not like the sickly, metallic aftertaste of stevia. I love the sugar flavor of Splenda but to stay in ketosis, you can only consume that moderately. My southern roots loves sweet iced tea. Monk fruit has been the closest thing I can find that tastes just like sugar for my iced tea and iced keto Dalgona coffee. Any recipe that requires sugar can be substituted with monk fruit. Any recipe that calls for flour can be substituted for almond flour. It isn’t about depriving yourself, it is about making smart substitutions for the food

⚠️ BEWARE: Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener - A Potentially Deadly Choice for Diabetics! ⚠️

We purchased Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener, hoping it would be a safe alternative for my diabetic husband. We used it to make lemonade, thinking we were making a healthy choice. But what followed was a nightmare. The erythritol in this sweetener triggered a bilateral pulmonary embolism, nearly costing my husband his life. We were lucky he survived, but I wouldn’t wish this terrifying experience on anyone. If you or a loved one are diabetic, please think twice before using this product. Consult your doctor and consider the risks. Your health is too important to gamble with.

Great Alternative

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to try form Tryazon, and was blown away. Usually I shy away from sugar alternatives as they always taste funny, but this tasted wonderful! We made chocolate chip cookies and no one could tell that they were made with a sugar alternative. On top of the great taste the nutrition facts are also great! Most of us in my family (minus the kids) have type 1 or type 2 diabetes, and finding this alternative has been a huge blessing. I also now use it in my morning coffee and I do not notice any difference!

My husband doesn’t know!

My daughter actually got me onto Lakanto, and I wanted to try the sugar substitute. It works well. But what I like best is that I can mix it with cinnamon for cinnamon toast, add it to oatmeal, or sprinkle it liberally on french toast and my husband who is diabetic doesn’t know it’s not real sugar! Fabulous!

A Newly Minted Sixty-Year-Old “sugar-A-Holic” Finds A Lifetime Replacement…

A Newly Minted Sixty-Year-Old “sugar-A-Holic” Finds A Lifetime Replacement… I Just Celebrated My Sixtieth Birthday. I Have Spent Sixty Years Being Addicted To sugar, Including The Corporations And The ‘sugar cartel’ That Runs The ‘sugar industry’ On This Planet, Making Sure That ‘sugar’ Is…Quite LITTERALLY…Woven Into The Fabric Of Nearly EVERY-THING We Drink Oar Or Oar Eat…EVERY-THING… Monk Fruit Is A Fascinating Replacement. Sure, It Does Not Taste Like ‘Real’ sugar, Yet, Having Tried Every “ss”…”sugar substitute” Since The 1960’S, Beginning With Saccharin… I Have Tried Them All, Most Of Them So Wild As To Make Your Face Twist Up And Your Tongue Fall Out. Monk Fruit Is Different. Period. Give It A Go. You May Be Pleasantly Surprised, And In For A Lifetime Change. With Love, I Truly Re-Main, Tull :sunglasses: A Heartist :purple_heart: :crystal_ball:

Lakanto Munkfruit Sweetener Rocks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the sweetener to try out with a group of friends and we loved it. It tasted good, is 1:1 with sugar and it was extra great for my friends with dietary concerns. Great product. Can’t wait to try more!

The Classic Sweetner has changed and is nothing like it was

Why would you change something that was so awesome? The Classic Sweetner had the same texture as sugar, now in this new shipment I just got, it's like powder. It is sticking to the side of my glass container like other cheaper tasting and less appetizing substitutes did. To top it all off, it even taste different. Nothing like what I have received in the past. I have recommended this product to tons of your customers. in fact, I was supposed to deliver a bag to a friend of mine that owns a local Mexican restaurant because he has been diagnosed with prediabetes and is looking for something better than what he is using for his tea and coffee. I told him all about your company and how awesome the Classic Sweetner is . He has even seen me at time bring in a small glass container with your product in it so I could add it to my tea at the table. I told him it looks just like sugar. The texture is like sugar, it feels like sugar and tastes like sugar......but now it's just another cheap powder and does not taste at all like it did earlier this year. Really not happy now with my 30lbs that just arrived today.
