These hangers made a black fuzzy mess everywhere. You need to wipe each one before you hang your clothes or you will have black lint in your clothing.

These hangers have a nice surface that holds clothing so that more dressy items don’t fall off. The thin size does not make a crease mark on the clothing and allows the clothing to hang nicely in the closet.

Great set of felt hangers! Sturdy, good shape, and strong. I bought them in black and there is no lint from the hangers that come off onto the clothing.

This was the second time I purchased these hangers, they're the best!!! Nothing slips off them, the hook turns around, they're not bulky and they don't take up much room. They're strong, never bend out of shape and the ones I've been using for about a year or so, are still like new. I love them and would buy them again and recommend them to others.

I was tempted by the low price, and the average reviews were good, but... When I first opened the box, I could see that one of the hangers was badly warped. I applied some gentle pressure to see if it might straighten, and it snapped like a thin toothpick, scratching my hand. But that wasn't even the deal breaker. The coating on these things is not like other brands of "velvet" hangers I've tried, which are soft and... well, velvety. These feel like they have thousands of little bristles. I'd read of problems that people had with the black hangers shedding, so I opted for grey, thinking they'd be less likely to leave visible residue on my clothes. But when I took the precaution of wiping the first few with a white towel, they left dark streaks on the towel. I might be willing to take a chance on more hangers breaking, like the first one did. But I don't want that spiny coating to come off on my clothes--or to get into my skin or my lungs!

Don’t buy the black ones unless you only put them on dark clothes. They shed. I have a basket in my closet that I place the hangers in, after I take the clothing off. Every time I went to do the laundry, my basket was full of black dust. My light tops also had black particles all over them. I finally figured out that it was from the black hangers shedding. I found if you order online, you can get lighter colors. That’s what I’ll do next time, and use them for my lighter clothes. Other than that, they are a great buy.

I ordered the velvet hangers in pink because I figured that way nobody will steal my hangers and the box says pink and it says color pink but when I opened it I got blue hangers. I guess it doesn't really matter. they're going to go in my closet but I don't know if they're going get claimed by other members of my household now. Hopefully they work for what I need them for and everything they feel like they're a good quality. I just didn't get the color I was expecting and that was written on the box.

In order to not have clothes smashed and wanting a better looking closet, I decided to switch over my hangers this spring. These seem pretty sturdy and every garment hangs nicely on them. I chose the black style and love the look and feel of the hanger. I’m looking forward to less misshaped shoulders from plastic hangers

Velvet hangers can be expensive These Member's Mark Hangers are reasonably priced and do a great job. I am a larger person and these hangers worked great for holding my 3xl shirts. They do a much better job than the plastic hangers. These would make great Christmas gifts too.

Long-lasting felt hangers keep clothes hanging without slipping off. These are durable and don’t break easily like some other brands. The hook will turn but best to keep it in place for longevity. These are great for a uniform closet and provide the ability to hang many more items than wooden hangers. They are priced competitively and worth the money to transform your closet.
