The under side of each shelf has a center support rail to assist in weight support. The price and vale cannot be beat, I did a lot of research on-line. AND, if you are a Sam's Plus Member you can have it delivered right to your home. (90lbs per box) I purchased 2 of these units to use in my Garage. The mobility expands the usable space in a small area.

The Member's Mark group worked with the vendor to quickly get the missing parts to me. Top notch customer service. I highly recommend these units.
