What a disappointment. Shoulder pain, upper back pain, and hot. Mattress is cool when you climb into bed, but after a few minutes the mattress is getting very warm. This causes me to toss and turn. I bought this at a retail shop and can't return it so I'm stuck with a mattress that is hot and uncomfortable. I called S&F's customer support and told me to buy a cooling mattress topper. Oh joy, more money to spend to fix their crummy mattress design. Makes you wonder if they did product testing. Overpriced. This mattress may end up on curb.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a 76-year-old male and a 62-year-old female, we have noticed improved comfort while lying on the mattress; sounder sleep. Do to its firm support it is easier to move around on the bed. We do greatly enjoy the new mattress.

This is a very comfortable mattress. Unfortunately the off gassing of the materials gave me terrible respiratory distress. I think the latex in the cushioning caused me to have an allergic reaction. My old Stearns & Foster (used almost 20 years) never had any such pungent odor. I think the new materials used in fabrication of the products contain more synthetic additives that can cause an allergic reaction in sensitive people who are sensitive to their odors - like me. This one is very comfortable but I had to return it.

I bought the Estate Rockwell 14.5" luxury plush, Queen, prime only two years ago. For the last six months I have been waking up with neck and back pain. I realized it's because the mattress is sagging in the middle. I'm the only one that ever sleeps in the bed and I only weigh about 140 lbs. Thank goodness there is 10-year warranty. But now I have to go through the hassle of getting a credit and coming up with the difference! I purchased this because it was recommended highly by friends. I'm very disappointed.

My husband likes his mattress on the softer side and I'm the opposite liking my mattress firmer--this was the healthy middle to both enjoy a good night's rest. The only thing that was different than I expected was the height of the mattress. It's not a deal breaker, but if you are purchasing the mattress online without seeing it in person, be sure it fits your headboard adequately. I'm redecorating our guest room and I think our future guests will also enjoy sleeping on this mattress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is like a dream. You feel cradled as you lay down in it. It's like floating on a cloud. My back, hips and neck felt so supported, I don't have any more stiffness when I wake up. I have been feeling more rested and relaxed than I have in a long time. I absolutely love this mattress!

I purchased in August 2023 from the now bankrupt sleep galleria so maybe that has something to do with quality control. Anyhow, I'm primarily a back and side sleeper with low back problems and thought the ultra firm would help me, as mattresses tend to sag and create pressure points. Unfortunately, the mattress is a bit way too firm. This particular ultra firm model is not listed on the site or so I haven't found and perhaps its been discontinued. I waited to long for a potential return. I do like the look of the mattress and it does seem to have some quality build to it, but for the money it's not quite worth it. It was either this or a beautyrest black and i opted for a stearns and foster considering their long term reputation for quality mattresses. Oh well, I'll probably keep it for an extra room later.

This mattress itself looks luxury. It is pretty thick, but has vents on both sides to keep it cool. Have been using the mattress for more than a month. The mattress is comfortable, haven't cause my back pain up to now. My husband thinks the 'cool to the touch' feather is not as good as it looks like. He feels this mattress is a little hotter than our old one, I don't think so though. One thing I don't like about his mattress is that, it is too tall for me, I am 5'2" and I have to climb onto the bed every time. Even my husband who is 6'2" thinks it is too tall.

This is our 1st Stearns and Foster mattress. We are extremely pleased with the quality and comfort of the mattress. We previously had a "hybrid" mattress and wanted something a bit more sturdy and a bit more firm - we found that with the Stearns and Foster Lux Estate Tight-Top Medium. As senior citizens, we wanted something that is firm, but not too firm - this mattress fits the bill! Although a bit pricey, we are hoping the mattress will give us several years of restful sleep.

I feel like the mattress adjust to my body perfectly giving me amazing support no matter which way I laid. The plush pillow top makes me feel like I am laying on a marshmallow cloud, it is so soft, but the mid firm layer under helped keep me from feeling like I was sinking down to far.
