We have an upstairs bedroom and it always is a bit warm there, so this mattress is perfect for keeping us more comfortable. The mattress itself is amazing- feel like I’m in luxury hotel room. We highly recommend- have only had S&F mattresses over the past 30 years and we are always pleased.

I've slept on many mattresses in my life. This thing is amazing. I'm the average American male size - 5'9" 190lbs. With other top of the line memory foam mattresses they were comfortable however, I would sweat too much. With this mattress in the same room, I never wake up in a pool of sweat. Mattress is only so-so, MEDIUM is too soft. But what really gets me is the FRAUD we experienced with the $300 Visa Card that we did not receive that was supposed to be included with the purchase. We've been S & F customers for over 25 years and will never buy their products again.

While I was very interested in the advantages of a memory foam mattress, I was concerned about heat retention. I'm what is known as a "hot sleeper". The Lux Hybrid does contain memory foam, but it's designed with coils, which allow the mattress to stay cool. Best of both worlds, right? Absolutely! I've been sleeping on my new Lux Hybrid for a little over a week, and I'm enjoying cool, cozy comfort all night long! I awaken refreshed, ready to hit the gym and start my day. If you're thinking about memory foam, but are concerned about being hot, please look into this mattress. It really will keep you comfy and cool!

This is my 5th mattress in less than two years. Two mattresses ago, I bought one online that had great reviews. It did not work for me. I sent it back 60-days later. Then I decided that I needed to go to a store where I could test mattresses in person. I narrowed it down to two. I decided to go with the Tempurpedic. I slept on it for almost three months and it just never seemed to be supportive or comfortable. So I went back to the store four more times and once again narrowed down mattresses until I got to two finalists. Another Tempurpedic and the Sterns Reserve Pillow Top Firm. I stayed in the store for almost two hours and went back and forth between the two. Duing the last visit, it became clear that the mattress that checked off all of the boxes was the Stearns. I was delivered six days ago. It has even been broken in and I can tell that this was the mattress for me all along. It is firm, but not hard. It is actually soft feeling but exceptionally supportive. I find that this mattress allows me to sleep comfortably in any position...back, side or stomach. This is great as almost no other mattress gives me this option. I wake up feel relaxed from a great night sleep, which is not as easy being 71. When I was younger, I could sleep on a bed of nails and do well. As you get older, getting comfortable in bed becomes more challenging. This mattress is by far the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept in.

We took a break and tried another brand and after a year were having restless nights. We tried a couple of online mattresses. We knew after one night, they were not for us and we returned them. We should have stayed with what we know, the quality and comfort of Stearns and Foster. First night was a very comfortable and restful night. We actually ordered online from S&F after speaking to a representative and felt comfortable with their return policy if we weren't happy.
