The floor was very easy to put in. I'm happy with the padding that is already applied leaving with one less step for finish.

Easy to install and my floors look amazing

Very easy to install. Very cost affective for those who are renovating. Took me 3 hours from start to finish (with pulling up carpet) to complete.

These floors have been installed in my house for over 7 years. I have a large family (6 Children) and high traffic on my floors. I have no damage to my floors even with my granddaugher (3-4 years old) riding her scooter in the house when it cold out, children dragging clothes baskets and toys across the floors. I installed 1500 SQ of flooring upstairs and 900 sq on my main floor. I have NO buckling or tears... If you get water on the floor clean it up within 24 hours and the floor will be good. Reminder... You cant even leave water on Real hardwood floors, because they will mess up as well (I have those also)..

I'm in the middle of installing 40 boxes of these and, so far, of the 13 boxes installed I've found seven pieces I've had to set aside. With 7 boards per box, that's a 7.5% defect rate. No Six Sigma quality program at Select Surfaces, apparently. The defect is that the foam backing is misplaced and extends into the tongue area. This makes attaching it to the mating side difficult without cutting out the foam and leaves the other side of the board short of foam. I'll return them, instead. The pictures are examples of the defective and good boards (provided I can upload them.) Overall, installation takes more effort on a board-by-board basis than it should, but over time you get the hang of it. I've installed many types of floors over the years, so not a novice. It looks fine, durability is TBD, as is how it holds together under use. Given the price, thickness, AC5 rating, and color options, it was worth the purchase. I think. Be sure to over-buy so you can deal with the defects.

After having a water leak with our old flooring from Sam's, we replaced it with this. Unfortunately after a few months the flooring edges started to chip, and lift. It doesn't look nice and smooth like it should. It is now a little over a year and the whole floor needs to be replaced. Never had any issues with water so can't comment on that. Floor before was from Sam's Club and that's why we went with it, but quality is not the same anymore 10 years later.

We were so happy when we installed. Beautiful floors, but a few months in the floors got messed up. Any little spill the floors got damaged. We are now having to look at new flooring because these are not lasting much. Lasted almost 3 years. They are not waterproof/resistent

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FLOORING! I had Select Surfaces laminate flooring in my bedrooms 15 years ago. I am very happy with that flooring. So I purchased this flooring for the rest of my home. WHAT A MISTAKE. It is not the same product or quality. It is not water resistant, chips/dents easily. The day after it was installed, a sink leak occured. Within 4 hours the laminate was ruined. The entire floor had to be removed and replaced. I took the removesd boards back to Sam's but they would not return them or give me credit. Even though the product was obviously defective and inferior. Even if they did return them, I am out the cost of the labor for installation and removal.

Looks good when it's installed BUT, give it a few months. -Don't spill liquids anywhere near it. -Dont expect quality. -Don't scratch. -Don't buy. After 6 months not only does it look like garbage, but has corner warping. If the material was free I wouldn't install . You get what you pay for. No real warranty

I'm an expereinced DIY'er. I bought this brand of flooring from Sam's 3 years ago for my dining room. It has held up fantastic. I decided it was time to tackle another project. I purchased 70 boxes of flooring in Colorado. That's a little over a full pallet. I thought that would be a good thing so I wouldn't have any damaged boards. Instead, the backing is overlapping on EVERY SINGLE PLANK, in every box! I read the other reviews & expected 1 plank per box. Not all of them. Like I said, I'm experienced at DIY projects. I am cutting off the excess on every single board instead of returning them for an exchange since I have so much & don't want to have to go through thia again. I am going to contact the manufacturer. I have pictures & videos for them. If you aren't patient & up for a real challenge, stay away from this flooring.
