Made my dog STINK so bad.

I know all dogs get a little funky. But this dog food made my dogs normal corn-chip body odor morph into a yeasty wretched smell that would linger in the room. It took us about a month to realize it was the food & I was in denial. A week or so after switching from this food & the smell is gone. So strange. Buyer beware.

Smelled so bad!

I was looking for a new food with higher protein and less “junk” so I was excited to try this one. Although my dog seemed to transition to it just fine, I absolutely can't stand the smell of it. I checked the expiration date because it smelled awful to the point where it makes me sick when I'm scooping it for my dog! I'm nervous to try another bag because of this.

Tasty

My dog has multiple allergies so my Vet suggested that we switch is food to grain free. I started with another brand, he would not eat. I switched to Member's Mark. He loves it. He actually likes the salmon and pea better but it is not always available.

Both Dogs Love It

My dogs love this food and it has helped with our labradoodle's coat, which tends to give off a sour odor. I believe that is partially due to the type of food they consume. I'm not a believer of buying overpriced "trendy" food for a dog but this is a great price for a better quality food. Our elderly boxer has even started eating more.

AMAZING!

Previously to buying this my dog was getting blue buffalo, when I saw this food at the price and amount with the amazing ingredients I decided to give it a try and I'm so happy I did. My dog loves it, kibble size isn't too big and the price is affordable. Will definitely be repurchasing.

Fantastic buy!

1. This is a massive bag with an easy resealable zipper. Tons of dog food for your money! 2. Our Aussie's skin has definitely improved. In Louisiana, the "winter" flips nonstop between hot and cold and his skin suffers for it sometimes. He's not scratching like he was prior to getting this dog food. I'd even say he's not shedding as bad (but that may be because he's not itching all the time and scratching hair off). Overall, amazing product. It's grain free and a wonderful source of protein/fats for our pup. I bought it because we needed more dog food after reading the reviews. Between price and quality, you aren't going to find a better purchase.

Beware

We always had good luck with this dog food until recently. As my mom put some in the bowl for the dog one day last week I commented that it smelled especially bad. It was a brand new bag. That night and 3 nights to follow we had 2 large dogs with diarrhea. I don't know what happened but the did fine on the other bag we purchased. They don't eat anything but dog food. Sounds like a quality control issue.

Terrible Awful No Good Diarrhea

More protien is not always better. I gradually switched my Rottweiler and Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix to this dog food. They had the worst loose stools. So bad one was having multiple accidents at night when he is otherwise housebroken. I tossed the rest of the bag switched to another brand entirely and haven't had anymore diarrhea. This food contains too much peas which contain a very high amount of insoluble fiber. The manufacturer uses peas to boost the protein content in a cheap way to make up for a lack of meat-based protein.Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for a quality grain-free dog food.

product recipe has changed

I too have noticed a change in the size and color of the kibble. 2 of my dogs ended up with terrible diarrhea. $300 vet trip later and being off the food they are doing better. I have used this product for over two years, but this must have been a big change to the recipe.

As good as Blue Buffalo! Half the cost!!!!!!

We were feeding our dogs the Denallie Blue Buffalo grain free from petco. Cost $60 for a 25 pound bag. Sams club was giving out samples and showed me the comparison chart between the 2. Was almost the same. I have 2 very active Minerature Australian Shepherds! I let them try it and they like it just the same. I started them with a half and half mix of the blue and the Sams. Never just start your dog on a different food. They will have a hard time with there stomach (diareah, not wanting it possibly, barley eatting it) Start them slow. We now have gone through a whole bag of the Sams brand. They like it and still got lots of energy and proper BM's every day. If you care about what your dog eats then price wise and quality wise this is the best I have found. Thanks Sams Club for having this!!
