I had to buy this because they were out of the one I normally purchase. Same brand and flavor, but not grain free. The bag is almost gone and I have noticed my dogs incessantly licking their feet, which is a sign of an allergic reaction. If it were just the boxer I wouldn't think it was the food, but my old lab is also driving me crazy with it. Nothing ever phases her, but this is the only thing we have changed, so I suspect it is the food.

Our dogs (a collie and a sheltie) are not picky but did not like this food. They would walk up to their dishes and walk away. I contacted Sam's regarding returning the food and was told to donate it or throw it away and returned my money without any issues.

We have 3 dogs- 1 beagle, 1 min Aussie and a golden retriever. The retriever is our sons dog that ended up being ours to care for. I put him on this dog food since out dogs were on it. I noticed he had bloodied paws all the time. Did some reading on it and when they chew the back paws too, its typically allergies. He also got weak and struggled to get up. We took him for a vet visit. They had us switch up his food. He improved. Without thinking it'd create an issue i started using up the rest of this food with the new food. Once again he is chewing paws. So is our min Aussie and Our beagle has small spots his fur looks to be coming lose.

My dog has been diagnosed with heart problems and it may be linked to Grain-Free dog foods- all grain free dog foods. Also, I learned that taurine is an essential ingredient needed for the heart and it isn't listed in the ingredients list. Changing my dogs food and hoping it's not too late.

I usually spend a lot of money on dog food. I needed something with less protein for my older dogs. I was worried about the chicken because it started to bother my poodle with the Royal Canine. I thought I would try this and it was good because there was no starchy additives. My dogs love it. I always add a little water and mix with dry food. They like it better a little wet. Dogs didn't gain weight. Their stool was healthy and they eat it. And the real test is how their fur feels. My poodle's fur is still soft. So it has the right amount of oils or fat. I am getting ready to buy my second bag.

I never had an issue since buying the chicken grain free until this last bag. At the very bottom the dog food was moldy, gross and sticking together! I was very livid after seeing that! We keep the dog food in a cool dry place and I know that mold developed somewhere else before we even got the food, either by process or storage. I would of been livid if the 2 Golden Retrievers would of gotten sick!

I decided to give this dog food a try and unfortunately I will be returning it today. My dogs have never experienced a bad reaction to food, however both my dogs have had nonstop diarrhea and vomiting since I tried to switch to this brand. Will be switching back to the other food that didn't make them so sick. I was a little surprised to read the reviews and see that this food has actually made a lot of other dogs sick.

Has anyone had issues with this dog food recently? Our dog has loved it for years and since buying the most recent bag (end of July) my dog won't eat it. Then after she finally gets hungry enough to eat some she smacks her mouth and licks her lips like they are irritated. Wondering if anyone else has had problems?

I feed two of my dogs this food. One has a touchy stomach and has seizures when not fed grain free. This food has been good on his stomach and since it is grain free it keeps him seizure free. Best of all the price is great, especially if you can pick it up during their instant savings promotions.

We tried this with our black lab by adding some pieces of canned chicken and then added some chicken stock and she eats everything in the bowl, I see that some people say add butter, I may try that and see how it works, but great dog food for a reasonable price.
