My husband could not use our former mattress/foundation without physical assistance and a step-stool to get in and out of bed following spinal surgery. Also, because the former mattress was way too soft, he couldn't change position himself in bed without assistance. I have been sleeping well for 65 years on Stearns and Foster mattresses, and this year, 2026, was a time for an upgrade.
