It has the perfect combination of plushness and firmness and I've been virtually pain-free since sleeping on it. It's a little heavy, so changing the sheets can be a bit of a project.

Bought a topper and it helps some but honestly annoyed I had to do that with an expensive purchase to begin with. Would not recommend.

It is very firm and comfortable and we are able to get a very restful and comfortable nights sleep. We appreciate that it is well constructed and does not make noise or movement when the other person moves in the bed or exits or enters the bed.
