[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the original scent gain. It just smells so fresh and clean. I use this stuff primarily for my bedding because it just makes the experience of going to bed better. The fresh clean smell is actually very relaxing and cozy. I would give it 5 stars but they have changed the formula to lighten up on the fragrance. This stuff used to be so potent it would make my whole musty basement smell fresh and clean when doing laundry and that is no easy task. Today the scent is the same but much more toned down. The do make scent booster beads to enhance the fragrance but it still doesn't feel the same and ethically it feels like a rip off to have to buy a second product to not even make it as good as it used to be. To be fair, they may have made this change because people did not actually like that amount of fragrance but I absolutely loved it and have been a customer ever since trying it.

The scent is my favorite and it will linger on your clothing for weeks! Its super easy to pour into the cap and dispense into your washing machine and gets your clothes clean and residue free. You dont need to use a lot for it to work which is a great way to save money on laundry. Bottle isnt difficult to store either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i generally use scent free and dye free detergent, but i must say this gain laundry detergent smells super fresh and works pretty well. the scent lasts all day and didn't upset my skin at all. it washed well out of the clothes and didn't leave any spots or residue. the liquid is pretty thin so it comes out quickly, but i also feel like a little goes a long way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the scent of Gain Original! It smells like sunshine in a bottle. This laundry detergent is for regular washing machines and high efficiency machines too. The scent is washed into your clothes and stays there. I like when I scratch my shirt and can smell the Gain Original scent like it was fresh out of the dryer or off of the clothesline. This detergent leaves no residue on the clothes at all. It is easy to dispense as there is a moat, as I call it, around the spout so that the detergent left in the cap will not drip down the bottle. I wash all of my clothes in cold water. The whites get white and the colors stay the color they are supposed to stay. This Gain Original liquid detergent is what I have been using for as long as I can remember, and unless they stop making it, I will keep using it the rest of my life. Gain Original is all I use, as it is a great, to me the best, laundry detergent, on the market. The scent can't be beat either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has a pleasant smell and provides a great clean in our front loading washer! I have found that I don't need to add much making even smaller bottles worth having. Clothes come out nice and dry really easily in our dryer.

I found that I LOVE the liquid as a stain remover! It's awesome! Put just a little on the stain…let it sit for a bit before throwing it in the wash and the stain is GONE! A little goes a long way! Which is great! If I run out of pods- I still have some detergent! It smells wonderful!! (In all the different scents, including original) and keeps my clothes looking fresh. I'll definitely be buying both the pods and the detergent from now on!
