I love the smell of original Gain! It makes my laundry smell so fresh and it is very efficient at cleaning my clothes! I especially love how affordable it is! It keeps mine and my daughter's MANY clothes clean without jeopardizing the quality any condition of them!

Back in the mid 1980's I drove over the road truck. One of our customers was P&G in Pineville, Louisiana. I used to walk behind the trailer I was picking up to make sure it is loaded and also to put a seal on it. I was amazed by the cool fresh scent that was coming from some of the trailers. I liked the scent so much I went back inside of the plant and asked what product was creating that scent. I was told it was Gain. I asked my wife to try it but she used another brand. Then a couple of years ago my wife changed from the other brand because it did not clean as well as Gain (liquid) and she said she liked the scent. But I do not feel Gain has as much scent as it did back in the 1980's. Maybe the Gain powder still has the old scent. Product does clean like it should, but I never know how much Gain or any brand of laundry detergents to put into our top loading washer. I tried the feel how slick you fingers are after dipping my finger in the wash water.

I love Gain over Tide any day. It noticeably cleans as good if not better than Tide . I've noticed using Tide that my clothes get a faint dirty fresh scent after awhile . Never experienced that with Gain. And I've always l9ved all of their fresh pleasant scents they come up with. And of course the price can't be beat.

Gain is my favorite laundry detergent. The smell of original Gain is so nice. I haven't found a detergent I like better. It gets your clothes clean and the smells stays with the clothes for weeks. I love pulling towels out of the cabinet and still smelling freshly washed.

Nothing beats the smell of Gain detergent. It seems to clean my kids clothes just as well as a more expensive brand such as Tide. With 3 kids I can't afford to spend an outrageous amount just on washing clothes. I can wash a large load of children's clothes and everything comes out clean and smelling fresh. 

This products smells absolutely amazing! I love that I can use it and my clothes continue to smell like it, even after they are dried. I do wish that it was easier to mix with the cold water but I'm sure that it is hard for any detergent to do that. Surprisingly, it doesn't bother my skin at all either. Definitely recommend.

I love love love Gain laundry detergent, fireworks & fabric softener. My favorite scent is the original. I love laundry day because my house & closet smell amazing. This detergent alone is great at removing smells and stains I’ve got 3 kids and I’ve never really had any issues with it not removing any and all stains that most other detergent leaves behind. Thank you again for making laundry fun & for making our family smell fabulous!

I have been using Gain for 15-20+ years and it was much better back then. Over time it has disappointed me. The powder leaves white marks so I tried tablets, I need four tablets per wash or my clothes smell after washing with two tablets. So now I am using the liquid but what happen to that nice scent Gain had years ago? So while at the store last week I picked up the other major brand and will stick with the other brand.

My mom my whole life used Tide, which I liked, but i kind of just got bored with that brand. So when moved out i decided to start trying off brands and Gain was the one I landed on. It really cleans my clothes,makes them smell good, but doesnt overly saturate it with the scent. It's also a great price and easily can be found at multiple stores.
