Back in the mid 1980's I drove over the road truck. One of our customers was P&G in Pineville, Louisiana. I used to walk behind the trailer I was picking up to make sure it is loaded and also to put a seal on it. I was amazed by the cool fresh scent that was coming from some of the trailers. I liked the scent so much I went back inside of the plant and asked what product was creating that scent. I was told it was Gain. I asked my wife to try it but she used another brand. Then a couple of years ago my wife changed from the other brand because it did not clean as well as Gain (liquid) and she said she liked the scent. But I do not feel Gain has as much scent as it did back in the 1980's. Maybe the Gain powder still has the old scent. Product does clean like it should, but I never know how much Gain or any brand of laundry detergents to put into our top loading washer. I tried the feel how slick you fingers are after dipping my finger in the wash water.

This has been my go to laundry detergent for about two years now. Which is impressive considering that I typically like to bounce around and try out different detergents. It smells so fresh and clean, I never get tired of it, my clothes are clean, soft, and not fading or shrinking. Works well with cool settings in an HE. I highly recommend.

I have been a loyal Gain customer for years. I use this along with the original scent fabric softener and the beads. No improvements need for this product. It is a little expensive. My family's clothing is left smelling good long after washing. I would definitely recommend this product.

I personally don't like this detergent at all! It's scent is very strong and disturbing. It leaves the clothes I wash all staticky and I wouldn't recommend people to buy this product if they don't like strong scent and staticky clothes. I would not buy this again as the clothes I wear after washing them with this detergent feel very uncomfortable.

I Like You original gain it works great and as in my other review I love lavender scent one I flip flop between the boat to pending whichever one I grabbed out of the cabinet I usually have both on hand because I do like them highly recommended for you to purchase this product give it a try

I have used gain a few times because it was on sale and I was on a budget, it gets the job done but it's not my favorite. I just feel like my clothes weren't as clean as when I use my favorite brand. It is definitely afford and worth the price but it's just not for me.

This is my go-to laundry detergent we usually pick up in a bigger container from Sam's Club. The scent makes me happy, but so does the cleaning power. My husband works as a machinist so has heavily soiled shirts and pants. I do use Spray n Wash but when I used Gain I had better results than other detergents.

I have used just about every brand of laundry detergent under the sun. I am very happy with this one the most! My husband is an athlete so it is very hard to find a detergent that gets out smells and sweat stains while keeping your laundry and machine smelling so fresh and good. Love It ! So Brilliant . . . So Funny ! I love the product and love this funny commercial . . . God Bless this organization ! Gain! We love a Gain moment. This detergent does it's job and does it good! Sure it is no bleach but it get most stains out where needed in most things. It smells great and it's a reasonably priced product. I recommend Gain if you aren't super rough on your clothes but like a good fresh clean.
