For the past three years I've experimented with seven different brands before settling on GroundSmart Rubber Mulch for 'brown' mulch areas. Here's what I like. It lays there, doesn't move even when blowing leaves, nothing grows through it except deep routed plants, the price point is solid, and it looks terrific. BTW, I rarely review, but this deserves a look.

Last fall I bought this mulch for the first time. I am adding to other beds this spring. I love the fact that I will not have to keep replenishing my beds with wood mulch each year. That time and cost savings makes this mulch worth the initial expense. I am hopeful the color will last at least 12 years. It does have a tendency to migrate in heavy wind/rain storms, but no worse than the wood mulch did.

We've had both rock in our flowerbeds as well as rubber mulch. Rubber mulch, although more expensive than traditional wood mulch, is more expensive but a lot cheaper than rock. Sam's rubber mulch is top quality shred and color. It looks great and maintains that great color and look for years. After maybe 5 years, if it starts to fade a little, just buy a few bags more and "top it off." All in all, rubber mulch is at least half the price of rock.

Purchased 3 years ago. Settled a little bit. Topped off this year still love this product. Color retention is very good.

Awesome product at a reasonable price. So excited to try this color other than the red. Do wish the packaging were better though.

I waa very pleased with this Product. I didn't need as much as I thought. Covers the ground well. Excellent.

all that we had hoped for and then some...down and done!!!!!...storms, no problem...stays put...great color...couldn't say anything bad about this product

It is very clumpy and somewhat hard to break apart. It takes much more to cover than the bag says. I certainly hope it lasts after all this effort and cost!!!

100% better than wood for areas without plants. With weed tarp, no weeds to deal with cause it doesn’t break down like wood. Wood mulch still best for planted areas.

Got tired of paying to have my mulch replaced every two years. Just started putting the rubber mulch down. Easy to apply and looks great. Glad I made the decision to buy it.
