I like this rubber mulch for around the Bestway steel frame pool. It's soft so no hard rocks end up under the pool that could puncture the liner. It is also soft on feet, and hasn't had any issues with being too hot, or issues with water. Only minor issue for me is that due to being light weight, the dogs can easily kick it out when they run through it.

For the past three years I've experimented with seven different brands before settling on GroundSmart Rubber Mulch for 'brown' mulch areas. Here's what I like. It lays there, doesn't move even when blowing leaves, nothing grows through it except deep routed plants, the price point is solid, and it looks terrific. BTW, I rarely review, but this deserves a look.

We've had both rock in our flowerbeds as well as rubber mulch. Rubber mulch, although more expensive than traditional wood mulch, is more expensive but a lot cheaper than rock. Sam's rubber mulch is top quality shred and color. It looks great and maintains that great color and look for years. After maybe 5 years, if it starts to fade a little, just buy a few bags more and "top it off." All in all, rubber mulch is at least half the price of rock.

This is a great new product! It is cleaner and easier to spread than standard mulch. It’s lightweight but stays put. The color is nice and looks really good. I mostly love that I won’t be replacing it for many years. The only drawback was I made an online purchase, the store said they were out of half of it when I arrived. I would have canceled or waited but ended up coming back. They didn’t even tell me, just shorted the order. Not cool.

My Sam's Club did not have all the bags of this mulch that I ordered (although a nearby club DID, and I feel they should have gotten them from there to fulfill my order). This rubber mulch is a great product - holds up well, retains its color, no junk mixed in - just wish Sam's would continue to carry it in 1.25 cf bags.

I really like the way this mulch looks. Reason for four stars is because of price which I thought was high. I guess they figured I won't have to replace as often. Time will tell if this mulch will retain its dark brown color and good looks. Give me a year and I'll let you all know how I feel about the mulch then.

I was considering rock for a steep slope on the side of my house and decided to try this rubber mulch because I had read that it doesn’t wash out and it was a much cheaper option. After putting down the mulch and through several downpours, the rubber mulch is still in place!

Awesome product at a reasonable price. So excited to try this color other than the red. Do wish the packaging were better though.

Purchased 3 years ago. Settled a little bit. Topped off this year still love this product. Color retention is very good.

I waa very pleased with this Product. I didn't need as much as I thought. Covers the ground well. Excellent.
