Used before and this was a change over of some other flower areas. Easy to work with, happy with results. Very pleased with personnel at club preparing the order and assisting in getting it all into my truck. 70 bags!! Only thing to recommend is to check all clubs in area for price. A week after purchase found same bags for $2 a bag cheaper at another Sam's club.

I really like the way this mulch looks. Reason for four stars is because of price which I thought was high. I guess they figured I won't have to replace as often. Time will tell if this mulch will retain its dark brown color and good looks. Give me a year and I'll let you all know how I feel about the mulch then.

I was considering rock for a steep slope on the side of my house and decided to try this rubber mulch because I had read that it doesn’t wash out and it was a much cheaper option. After putting down the mulch and through several downpours, the rubber mulch is still in place!

My Sam's Club did not have all the bags of this mulch that I ordered (although a nearby club DID, and I feel they should have gotten them from there to fulfill my order). This rubber mulch is a great product - holds up well, retains its color, no junk mixed in - just wish Sam's would continue to carry it in 1.25 cf bags.

This was the first time I tried this type of mulch. It was easy to spread but I still needed a lot to get the coverage I wanted. I liked the weight and texture and it has a nice look almost like bark. It has been in direct sunlight for a month and a half and the color looks great. It has stayed in place during stormy windy weather and is perfect. I'm ready to use for the rest of my landscape. Worth the extra cost.

Price and quality seem good but I am starting to see a decent amount of white "thread" in the flower bed. I though it was bird feces at first but upon closer inspection it looks like white thread the dye has washed off of already. I will be keeping a close eye on.

This is a great new product! It is cleaner and easier to spread than standard mulch. It’s lightweight but stays put. The color is nice and looks really good. I mostly love that I won’t be replacing it for many years. The only drawback was I made an online purchase, the store said they were out of half of it when I arrived. I would have canceled or waited but ended up coming back. They didn’t even tell me, just shorted the order. Not cool.

I did not have a huge area to cover so this mulch works well for me. A very large area would be expensive to cover. One issue I have with this mulch is the claim that you can blow debris off it with a leaf blower and the mulch will not blow around. I tried that and the mulch blew all over the place. I suppose if I could manage to get the angle just right with the blower hovering just above the service and perfectly level, debris on top of the mulch might be blown away without disturbing the mulch but for the most part this mulch is loose and will blow around like most loose material will. However, I had no problem with mulch blowing around during a heavy windstorm or washing away in a heavy rainstorm. If you enclose your mulched area with some type of edging the mulch will not migrate. I have this mulch in an area where lots of leaves collect so I solved my problem of debris removal by securing a black mesh bird netting directly on top of the mulch. Leaves and other debris land on the mesh and can be cleaned up with a leaf blower without disturbing the mulch. The mesh is not really visible from even a few feet away, is inexpensive and is very easy to work with if you get the right size for your project. Overall, I like this mulch for its convenience (does not fade or otherwise degrade) and its appearance. Also, it keeps weed growth to a manageable level if installed over landscape fabric.

I like this rubber mulch for around the Bestway steel frame pool. It's soft so no hard rocks end up under the pool that could puncture the liner. It is also soft on feet, and hasn't had any issues with being too hot, or issues with water. Only minor issue for me is that due to being light weight, the dogs can easily kick it out when they run through it.

This mulch is clean to spread. No black dye to stain your gloves and clothes. Not messy. Light weight compared to regular mulch. The bags don't absorb water like wood mulch. And it looks great! Only time will tell on how long color will actually last ( they guarantee it for 12 years). Weeds grow in wood mulch but not in the rubber mulch. Of course we used weed block paper underneath ( just like with wood mulch) and we have not had weeds. The initial cost is more than wood mulch but it doesn't need to be replace year after year. So in the long run it will be cheaper.
