After about 6 months of use this unit had to be retired - water seeped into the housing and sparking occurred from within, indicated by flashed of light and accompanying noise. Fortunately I was nearby, and an electrical fire did not ensue, but it was certainly alarming. Also, a component had been degrading over time, releasing black flecks of rubber into the reservoir. Not ideal. Based on the electrical fault, I don't feel like this product is safe to use

I don't have babies any more. I bought the humidifier for my bedroom. I've been suffering from dry eye after cataract surgery. The humidifiers I have running now both help. My one complaint about this particular model is that I find it inconvenient to upend it and take it to the sink to refill. I always drip water on my hardwood floors.

Ive had this for a couple months and recently I noticed I could really hear the hum/buzz of the Products fan. The fan also seems to run continuously even in the off position. Top that with a very bright light (I wrap a towel around it, I can't sleep with any little bit of light). For the steep price I expected this to be a lot quieter and not as bright. I can handle the bubble noise that every humidifier, but the buzzing fan is annoying.

I can't tell you how excited I was to use a humidifier with no filters and be self cleaning!! We were always so hesitant to use them in our home because we had a bad experience with one getting super yucky with my first born. I am so thrilled to go into the cold weather season without the worry of making any sicknesses worse!

I hate doing bad reviews. Chose Safety 1st clean humidifier as less risk of bacteria etc. as going thru chemo treatments. The Humidifier had already been used and returned. All parts were lose and the outer box re-taped. The unit’s bottom plastic plate was tinged yellow from use/age. Afraid to use as this item still requires cleaning even though minimal. Very disappointed and will be returning product.

This humidifier has been life changing for us from our previous humidifier that needed to be scrubbed and cleaned all the time and still never felt really clean. Being able to simplify our daily routine while taking care of an infant is truly a blessing so we are loving how easy this humidifier is to use and how much safer it feels in our son's room!

It does a great job of humidifying my very dry apartment in winter. It's quiet and lasts a long time; a full tank of water will last a day even on high. But it does eventually start to grow mold. The LED light does not prevent mold growth. I did clean it every couple of days, from top to bottom, with bleach and tiny brushes to get in all the crevices. But it still quickly grew mold each time. I guess there really is no humidifier that truly stays clean.

We're expecting our third child soon and I'm so excited to have the stay clean humidifier this time around. I've always had a humidifier for my kids' rooms but struggled with keeping them clean and mold free. I love that all I have to do it plug this one in and turn it on and it's good to go. Thanks for helping save this mama from cleaning one more thing!

I adore this humidifier! It arrived right as my son was feeling a little under the weather and I am so glad!!! I have wanted one for years but always feel like they are so ugly and such a hassle to clean. This one you literally just plug it in to clean! The best! And it looks adorable in my home, not some clunky boxy thing, it looks almost like a diffuser or something - clean lines. Love it and will always recommend to my friends to this one!

I bought the safety first humidifier because I liked the fact that it is self cleaning. I use the humidifier everyday in the fall and winter time to keep the air in my room moist. We have been sick with colds and this humidifier has kept our noses and throats from getting stuffed and dry. The only thing that bothers me about it is the bright blue LED light, that is needed for the self cleaning process. It takes a while to get used to it. It is very quiet when using it and you can keep it on and running all through the day and night. If you have it up on high mist then you will need to add more water. The lower the mist it doesn't use as much water. I love the self cleaning part.
