I bought this for one older outdoor cat that I feed in my garage. Apparently word has traveled and I'm now feeding strays, possums, raccoons and skunks. The food goes very quickly so that must be a testimony to how good it is.

This particular flavor I bought is not my cats’ favorite. That doesn’t stop them from eating, however. I will have to try to remember the flavor they gobble up next time.

Cheap food, there’s a raccoon who stops by to eat at night and he eats this cat food. Usually my cats have better quality dry food but since I’m not working thought it would be a good choice to feed them this. One of them throws up!

i have been buying Meow Mix at Sams for a decade with no problems. All my cats loved it. This last bag I purchased in March of 2026 has not been a success. The cats sniff it and move away. I leave it out and they eventually eat it out of hunger. I am considering returning.

The order of ingredients recently changed - and not for the better! Chicken by-product meal use to be the second ingredient. Now it’s third. The regular Meow Mix still has chicken by-product meal as the second ingredient. So, the “Sam’s Club exclusive” Meow Mix is cheap, but the formula is too.
