This so far seems to be keeping mosquitoes away. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star rating is because I haven’t been able to use it often enough. The few times I used it on our patio, however, it didn’t seem like we were getting bit. That’s a good thing!

We are living in Midwest close to swampy lake. For the first time since we live here we can use our deck in evening hrs. I am highly allergic to mosquitoes bites but when I start it, you can see them, but they keep distance from your protected zone

We love the convenience and effectiveness of the Radius and the ease of refilling - pop the top and insert a new cartridge and done. We use a Gen 1 and Gen 2 Radius and it's certainly nice that the same cartridge fits both. For the relatively small price difference, and for the amount of time it works, we keep just the 40 hour refills on hand.

I used two of these on several recent camping trips. Two going at the same time, on a picnic table at a campsite, really did seem to drive away the mosquitos, despite my doubts. I wish the charge lasted a little longer, and I wish they'd charge faster, but those are nitpicks compared to the effectiveness. Note that I only tested them out in pretty calm weather; I don't know yet how they'll work in windy conditions.

Being stuck at home in 2020 made me want to enjoy my backyard more. I had tried various mosquito control products, but nothing worked other than generous application of insect repellent all over myself. My wife saw this product had good recommendations so I decided to give it a try. Much to my surprise, it performs pretty much as advertised. Since using it I have experienced few if any mosquito bites--I was one of those unlucky individuals who would get bitten almost immediately. So I'm all in for this product and have purchased multiple refills so I can enjoy my backyard for the rest of the season.

I am sorry to say I am not very impressed with your product! It works but only for a short period of time! Does not keep mosquitos away for more than an hour! I bought it to last through a dinner outside and I am sad that it does not last that long!

How do I know that mosquitoes hate THERMACELL? When my family from Switzerland visits us in Glendale AZ they are usually eaten alive by mosquitoes as they love hanging out on the back patio. That’s why I searched for an effective solution to the mosquito problem. My niece who usually has about 20 bites by the end of the first night has none after a two week visit. All three visitors were really impressed with the little unit that packs A LOT of punch against mosquitoes. It’s a little pricy but that’s the price you pay for no mosquitoes and happy campers🥰😊😀. 👍👍THERMACELL

I saw this advertised and decided to try it as I have a big outdoor gathering every year over the 4th of July weekend. I sat outside with a book for a good 45 minutes and was pleased that I was not overwhelmed by mosquitos. I promptly ordered a second unit and some refills. I would definitely recommend this product.

Refills don’t last the specified hours. 12 hrs refill lasts 9 hrs and 36 hr refill last no more than 30 hrs. They are pretty expensive so should last the hours stated on packaging. The protection zone is also not as big as stated. They do work well, just not as long or as far as stated.

First heard of Thermacell while visiting my daughter and son-in-law in Maine, SOL uses the portable version while hunting and it keeps the mosquitoes and black flies at bay. (Mosquitoes in Maine are pretty much considered the state bird... lol ) Then they purchased the patio version for the deck and its been absolute bliss. I recently purchased my own Radius and its wonderful. Keeps the little flying vampires away. (('m very sensitive to mosquitoes and black flies. One bite is like a golf ball) Being able to enjoy the outdoors without smelling terrible and /or feeling greasy is terrific. Thank you Thermacell for giving me back total enjoyment of summer evenings by the fire pit !
